great!!!

i really love their new single! trial is really really catchy to me..for the fact the chrous was repetitive..yet memorable..so it went into my head right away and insisted me to hit the repeat button again and again..this song is mostly guitar based..w/a bit of drums..quite well put..a new feel..and i like how ryohei and ryuichi had more contribution..as in singing along w/keita too..so it gives me a song that's really a group work..job well done! back at one was not too bad too..i was too into trial already..so this song didn't spark me that much..but it's still a nice song to listen and the last song was a remake of o-town's 'all or nothing'..the melody of this song was great to begin with..so the song is overall well done..i'm quite surprised w-inds. would do a remake of a pop song..they've made the chorus less repetitive..so it makes the song sound a bit better..not too boring w/the same words again and again overall a job well done..sounds like w-inds. are makin great music again..can't wait their next single! |

| It is the best single of w-inds. I've got... And I usually don't buy singles cause CD's are more worth your money... "Trial" is a little like "Pieces" song so I loved it... And it's the song used in the japanese version of "Goal"... "Back at One" wasn't my favourite... There was a constant repeat of "B.A.O" in the song that gave me a headache and I didn't understand why people like it so much... Anyway... My favourite was "Kazuata" as it was very soothing... It's a coversong for O-Town's "All or Nothing" which I recently heard of... And it comes with two card... I got Ryuichi again! And the other card is a "Goal" card... Worth it! The cover is so beautiful as well... |

A nice single indeed, the boys kinda experimented with different melodies and tunes and it's a pleasure to see it blends beautifully with vocals from Keita, Ryohei, and Ryuichi. TRIAL: A nice song to start off the single. No rap appears whatsoever, just strong vocals assisted by guitar and the orchestra. The chorus is very neat. Back At One: The intro is addicting! The element of light rock kicks in with few strings of electric guitar. Very upbeat and particularly love the chorus, it just make you wanna sing! It can be repetitive at times, but the beat and everything are incredibly different from the usual w-inds's style. Very fresh!~ KAZAUTA: Beautiful ballad solely with piano as the major instrument played. It really sets the romantic and relaxing mood. Gosh, Keita's voice just stuck in my head! TRIAL~Instrumental~: No vocals, let's karaoke, baby~~!!! *coughs* |

| trial, is an amazing song compared to their other single in the stars, which caught me way off guard. it was so un-w-inds-ish and oh so disappointing when i first heard it that i doubted the grown up w-inds. trial restored it all by showing the new maturity developed by w-inds. it's fun to sit and listen to the old singles and compare keita's voice. hehe. puberty. anywho, trial is a loverly single and i hope that they would would continue on this route in their career, not the in the stars one. xb |
