A step backward Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This album is a step backward compared to ''Kingdom'' which was a very solid album with almost all the tracks of single quality. I enjoyed ''Moon Crying'', ''TABOO'' and ''stay with me'' very much but the album tracks are for the most so and so. I think ''Driving'', ''This is not a love song'' and ''Ai no Kotoba'' are the best between the new tracks. ''Bling Bling Bling'' is curious, at first listen it sounds damn catchy but after some listenings it sounds mediocre. In conclusion ''TRICK'' is a good album but not excellent like ''Kingdom''.

A New Style For Kumi Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I must admit that when as the previews and radio rips slowly came out I didn't care for the album too much. In fact, I had considered on simply not buying it, which would be a first for me. I've always bought every album, single and DVD she's ever released. I'm a HUGE fan. So for awhile I felt terribly depressed and dissapointed about the album, but after listening to the full album together at once, seeing the PVs and looking at the booklet, this album is yet another GREAT album by Kumi Koda. I will admit some of the material here is a brand new take for Kuu, but it's really good. She's totally outdone herself this time. I can only hope the TRICK Tour 2009 will be just as great, and Better than the Kingdom Tour 2008. Anyways, I'm reccomending this album out to all fans of Kuu and R&B/Pop and looking forward once more to her future releases.

'show girl' has a 'TRICK' that's 'TABOO' Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've been a Kuu fan for about 6 years. I could be biased, but if she didn't produce such great music, do you think I would be a fan?

Introduction For TRICK - PREFECT way to start the album! It's suited perfectly for the album's theme and I hope there will be a full version to it one day!

Driving - I loved it the first time I heard it! It's like R&B meets techno!

show girl - She is a show girl! Kuu shows us her spunk in the song and PV! This song is addicting and fun! You can't help but love it!

Your Love - Kuu always impresses me with her ballads. This song is so gentle, but it still feels like it suits TRICK's theme.

stay with me - What can you say? This ballad is just GORGEOUS!

Joyful - I wish this had a PV! I picture Kuu riding a circus elephant as she waves to a crowd every time I hear it. It's just fun!

JUST THE WAY YOU ARE - This song, though a ballad, is more of your upbeat type of ballad. It's not a 'tear your heart' out ballad.

TABOO - Such a strong dance number! Kuu hits every note PERFECTLY and hits those dance moves HARD in the PV!

Hurry Up! - Now this song is fun! It's as fun as the title says it is and just puts you in a good mood when you hear it!

This is not a love song - (haven't heard it, yet)

Bling Bling Bling feat. AK-69 - When I first heard this song, I thought it was a joke. But the more I listened to it, the more addicted I became! "Money, money, money, just make it out to cash!"

That Ain't Cool - The only reason I like this is because Kuu's in it. At least the album PV version has WAY more Kuu than Fergie this time!

Moon Crying - Still one of her strongest ballads. Tear jerker!

Ai no Kotoba - This song had me crying the first time I listened to it. It's so pretty, though. You can't help but listen to it again and again.

Venus - Kuu's english is PERFECT in this! It's even perfect live! Her english has really improved since 2000! It's almost as good as the original!

The 'Dirty Ballroom' is WICKED. I saw videos of it not more than a week after she original performed. She hits those moves SPOT on! Just when you think this woman can't get any better, she does.

'TRICK' is worth it! Plus, you get it $5 cheaper if you preorder it!

Another great album. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
In my opinion, TRICK is her best album since Black Cherry. Kingdom didn't have very strong tracks but Kumi makes that up with TRICK. show girl is a really fun and nice track, JUST THE WAY YOU ARE is very relaxing and BUT, TABOO and Driving are the more cooler tracks of the album. Too bad that That Ain't Cool really ain't cool. I hope that Kumi can surprise us with her Dirty Ballroom concert and with the JTWYR videoclip.
I can truly say that if you'll buy this album, you won't have regrets.
