Totally Dissapointed... Customer Review Rated Bad 1 - 1 out of 10
I bought this Kokia CD based on her new "Uta ga Chikara" CD. I fell so in love with "Uta ga Chikara", that I had to go back and order all Kokia's other CDs. I wish I had quit while I was ahead. I don't know what happened to Kokia, but thank God her new "Uta ga Chikara" is NOTHING like "Trip Trip" which is pretty horrible musically, even though Kokia's voice is it's ONLY redeeming quality. The songs are fluff and unimportant and she has no passion in her voice. The instruments are odd and don't match her style one bit. If you are considering Kokia I say: BUY "UTA GA CHIKARA" only. "Remember Me", her second album isn't good either, but mostly because it is almost all in English which is NOT a talent Kokia possesses. She should only sing in Japanese. Also, both of her first two albums are slow and tedious. Then, like a light went off...there's the blessing of "Uta ga Chikara". WOW. The music is wonderfully suited for Kokia's high soprano and the whole album is up-beat (except for 2 slow songs). Her voice is powerful and full of passion for her music. She truly had a revolution after these first two albums. I really, really would NOT reccommend this CD...even to a HUGE Kokia fan like myself who wanted to own the entire collection. It was a huge let-down in my admiration of Kokia. So, "Trip Trip" and "Remember Me" lay around my house gathering dust, while "Uta ga Chikara" LIVES in my car CD player and I play it every single day when I drive my son to school. If you want to be a Kokia fan...I simply cannot say it enough: BUY "UTA GA CHIKARA". You will be blown away. With this CD, you will only be turned totally off.

Pretty Good.... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Well, no one said anything about this, so...
I heard "say hi" on bestiz.net and saw the music video. Personally, I enjoy her style of singing (not like Ayu's screechy and vibrato-ish style.) The melody is nice and cute enough. The music video was beautiful (shrines, her in kimonos, streams/water, very interesting.) I haven't heard any of the other songs (but I'm downloading some). However, I think this is a good buy.
