Great Live Recording

Greatest Hits over 20 years
| This concert contains the hits of Teresa from the 70's golden era (I'm easy, Conversations) to her Chinese hits in the 80s (if, don't surrender, if you have to leave me) and all the way to the remakes from her latest brand new album. The live jamming with Lam will be a classic many years from now. It is sad that the HK radios did not plug her soul and funky track 'only one day'. It is definitely one of the best Chinese songs in 2004. |

Great concert, but where is Jacky?

I wish I could have made it to this show but I was out of Hong Kong during most of April. My friend went and said that for her the highlight was Hok Yau singing with Teresa. I think they sang two or three songs together. 愛是永恆 was one for sure. But on the CD - nothing! What is the matter with these people? These are not two new idols competing with each other. Why can't the record companies grow up???? It makes me so mad when this kind of thing happens I just dont want to buy cds any more. Apart from that, the CD is well worth listening to. The best is when she sings her old hits, especially 真愛, and 何必放棄, and 若你要離開我. Still, no one can sing ballads like Teresa. I did like her renditions of the newer K-songs, like 好心分手 which is actually a really moving song when it is sung right. I hope the DVD will be able to add Jacky back when it comes out. |
