****** Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Further to my review yesterday, I would like to add a few more points. The daughter, though already 30, definitely respects and cares about her parents' feeling. She is free to do whatever she wants except when it comes to marriage. In the western world, it would be regarded as ridiculous when she was confined in the house by her mother but for her sake, her parents eventually gave in, twice in fact, and they too came to love Bae like a son. For me, the most unforgettable scene was when Bae (Jae Ho) was having a game of chess with his father in law. The look on Bae's face can only be found on a first top class actor. He puts a sword right through all his viewers' hearts and left us with the most painful ache. Bae might not be the most handsome actor, but he is no doubt charming, superb, most pleasant, gorgeous and he has such a sweet smile that makes every girl falls for him...I really mean that and I am not his fan.

sad...but excellent Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
A very long but well entertained drama with excellent performance by all the cast, lead by Bae Yong Jun. It is so sad at the end. If you are looking to shed tears, you will certainly do so. Being a parent myself, I truly admire Hing Ying's parents for everything they did for the sake of their one and only daughter and they came to love the one their daughter loves so much as well. Once again, no disappointment from Bae. He absolutely glues you to the chair.

A "MUST WATCH” BYJ CLASSIC ! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Completed watching this series just last night, this is a highly recommend viewing. I agree with many other reviewers that BYJ’s acting really shone in this drama and all of the supporting casts did a brilliant job. The one great message from this drama is basically summarized in its title i.e. “TRUE TO LOVE”…love between two lovers, a daughter and her very understanding parents; a filial nephew that had great respect his aunt who offered great support and unconditional love; love and respects between friends….my mandarin is not great so there may have been some message in the drama that I’ve missed but still I got the great in-depth message that the genius scriptwriter(s?) put together….everything was beautifully executed! Gotto be patient as materials in the first 6 episodes a bit slow but necessary i guess to explain BYJ's character and his dilemma in life. I thoroughly enjoy the clothes that the actors wore (especially from episodes 22 onwards….very “Country Road” for all the Aussie fans out there!) BYJ is a fantastic actor .. I watched him in WS then Untold Scandal…this was a major shift in role but he pulled this off brilliantly…and True To Love is just another testament to his true acting ability! As for Kim Hye Su…she too was brilliant…played a strong character and for those reviewers that bagged her for being “BIG”…Allo excuse me!.She’s VOLUPTUOS! My husband has never been a real fan of Korean material …ended up watching this series because of Hye-Su’s spell on him…she had similar effect on my fren’s husband!!!

Very touching, highly recommend Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
As usual, another very touchig Korean drama. I like it very much. Maybe because female audiances enjoy tragedies so this is another tear jurker. After you watch a few of these you began to wonder if love is not a happy thing but a sad and tragic thing? But we just love it or they won't keep on making these dramas.

The latter part is sad Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I am only 17yrs old, but this serie truly made a impact on me. I love this serie although it's sad and heartbreaking to watch. Bae Yong Jun made his best performance in this serie. Although it's long, but this serie is a true story (not literally) with a really complicated storyline. It hurts me so much to watch it although I watch it over and over and I can still feel the urge to watch it again because evidently BYJ's acting skill was superb in this serie. I only became his fan after this serie. He truly deserve me respect and admiration for his acting skills. It hurts me so much when I see him hurt from all the painful realities he had to put up to and it's so sad that like our society there can be genuis yet they don't have half the things they deserve.
Kim Hye Soo was also very good in this series. I really like her character. When I watch her cry I always cry with her because I can feel her pain from her confusing love story with BYJ.
Three words "I Love It!"
