Julian Cheung and Annie Wu make a photogenic couple in the horror comedy Twilight Garden! Aman Cheung (Body Weapon, Tricky King) directs this tale about two cops, Chi (Julian Cheung) and Wah (Michael Tse), who are demoted and stationed in a remote rural village after letting a girl commit suicide. The two rent a room from batty old lady Nun (Hong Kong Cinema fixture Luo Lan), but Chi is soon distracted by the arrival of Nun's granddaughter Queenie (Annie Wu). Chi finds himself drawn to the beautiful, mysterious girl, but something is not quite right. There's a mysterious gweilo (Jude Poyer) hanging around, and Chi discovers he has the "sixth sense". Could Queenie be not of this earth? Aman Cheung brings humor and heartbreak to this pleasantly entertaining film that mixes horror and romance - and not necessarily in equal doses. Co-starring the goofy Tats Lau (God of Cookery) as Michael Tse's vampirism-afflicted uncle, Twilight Garden is an unusual and even touching horror-comedy.
