依娜的孩子生得很艱難，但終於還是生下來了。〝卦〞卻顯示，她和岩罕不能成婚。於是，交還曾海誓山盟的「信物」，今生今世，她（他）倆再無做夫妻的可能。可是她（他）們畢竟是深愛著對方的。孩子病了，岩罕毅然走進依娜的家門，被巫師率族人懲治，孩子死了，依娜聊以自慰的唯一離她遠去。
某夜，依波將大醉的岩罕拖回可以藏身的小屋，宣告兩人關係的建立，遂了心願。岩保趁夜至依娜家，意欲與依娜相好。關健時刻，依娜覺出不對，奮力反抗，岩保奪了依娜的項圈溜走。晨，岩保的屍體在水中浮沉，死因不明。依娜卻遍尋不獲自己的項圈。
依波生了雙胞胎。這被認為邪魔轉世。族人隆重驅魔。依波和孩子被趕出山寨。莽莽山林，一個女人如何得以生存……飽受打擊的岩罕與依娜相聚偷情。依娜想跟岩罕逃入山林，那怕是條絕路。但岩罕……現在畢竟是現實。
依娜又懷了岩罕的孩子。她無奈，找來了岩罕的弟弟，在巫師宣告依娜跟岩罕的弟弟成為夫妻的當晚，岩罕手持鋒利的腰刀，朝依娜家潛去……
"It was an ancient era. Here lived a group of remoted citizens in the mountain. Couples here who would like to get marry were required to give birth to a child first, and a month afterwards, a divination would be used to determine whether they could be husbands and wives...
Inuo had a hard time giving birth to her child. However, the divination indicated that she and Yah Haan could not get marry. Therefore, they returned the betrothals to one another. It was impossible for them to be husband and wife, but they still deeply in love with each other. The child was sick and Yan Haan eventually popped on Inuo's doorstep. He was discovered and punished by the tribe which was led by a witch . The child died and Inuo left for recovering from heart breaking.
One night Ibo took away the drunken Yan Haan to the small hidden hut and declared the built up relationship between them, indeed it was his wish. Yan Bao went to Inuo's house at night and intended to date with her by intuition, Inuo felt these was something unusual and she tried her utmost to fight against Yan Bao. He stole away Inuo's neckband. In the morning, the corpse of Yan Bao was floating on the water and nobody knew about the cause of his death. Inuo failed to find her neckband even she tried hard in doing so.
Ibo had given birth to a pair of twins but this was regarded as evil resurrection. The tribe scoured the evil spirit seriously, Ibo and her babies were driven out of the village. How could a woman survive in a densely forest?
The depressed Yan Haan were dated with Inuo illicitly. Inuo wanted to follow Yan Haan to escape to the forest but it might be a road of death but Yan Haan... fact is still fact.
Inuo was pregnat again. She was very naive and found Yan Haan's little brother. In the night of the witch declaring the marriage between Inuo and Yan Haan's little brother. Yan Haan ran towards Inuo with a sharp knife in his hand."

Beautiful, brutal, & very slow
| "Two Women's Story" is a smoothly directed, beautifully filmed tale of the residents of a remote mountain village and the effects of their superstitions on their lives. The story unfolds at a glacial pace and is told with very little dialogue. The action largely consists of people getting drunk, procreating, and making each others' lives miserable with those inane superstitions. Arthouse film buffs may find "Two Women's Story" involving; most others will be put off by the film's slow pace and lack of character development. |
