세련된 외모의 여자 보컬 ‘솔비’는 Powerful하고 허스키한 음색을 가지고 있다. 신인답지 않은 안정되고 호소력 짙은 목소리가 눈여겨볼 만하다. 남자 보컬 ‘우재’ 와 랩퍼 ‘지환’ 또한 오랜 준비기간을 보여줄 만큼 노련함이 눈에 띄는 신인이다.
그룹의 홍일점인 메인보컬 솔비는 2년동안 작곡가 김세진씨에게 보컬트레이닝을 받아오면서 가수로써의 자질을 키워왔고 그후 1년여간의 준비끝에 발탁되었다. 솔비와 마찬가지로 우재 역시 히트제조기 주영훈씨와의 1년여간의 준비끝에 타이푼과의 인연을 맺게되었다. 이후 랩퍼 지환의 합류로 가요계를 강타할 강력한 태풍의 눈으로 3인종 혼성그룹 Typhoon(타이푼)이 완성됐다. 참여작곡가로는이용민,정진수,위종수,박성진,서정진,저스틴,김세진,전해성,홍재선등이다.

OMG....
OMG....
| Wow....can you say KOYOTE?!?! There hit song sounds EXACTLY like Koyote....they have the rapper, the high pitched type vocal male and then the female. The actual song that is popular right now sounds exactly like an old koyote song too....song is upbeat.. a rap hear and there and then it ends with the beat lightening for the last chorus....Wow...I can't believe how much they sound EXACTLY like Koyote...they really need to get their own style. |

Nice Blend, Great 1st Album

This album rocks! Think of a triple-crossover between the light-hearted sounds of Cool, the sweet melodies of S#arp, and the dance allure of Koyote and you have Typhoon! More and more am I learning to not judge groups by their (almost-always-cheesy) names. Luckily, I got over the fact that this group's name is somewhat-lame very quickly because this truly is an album worth purchasing. |

Great Group !
| Typhoon... this group is really awesome! I saw their first ever music video "gurleeoso..." on bestiz.net. It's #3 on the album list. Anyway, when I saw this music video, I got into the beat of this song and really enjoyed the video. Their music seems almost similar to Koyote's upbeat songs. So, if your the kind of person who likes Koyote's music then this is another group you could possibly like. Give this group a listen and see what you think. Support Typhoon! |
