A month after the shocking news of Alexander and Ki Bum's departure from the group, U-Kiss reintroduce themselves with a new album and two new members. Eli, Ki Seop, Dong Ho, Kevin, and Soo Hyun are joined by Hoon and former Paran member AJ to form the brand new U-Kiss. As the first release from the revamped U-Kiss, this mini-album leaves a strong impression with six new tracks, including the ballad 0330 composed by hitmaker Kim Tae Hyun. AJ helped write the lyrics for the title song, and co-wrote another track with Dong Ho. Paran's P.O also participated on the album's production, composing the songs It's Time, I Don't Understand, and Miracle under the name SWIN.

I always wanted to buy Bran New Kiss but it was out on stock. I found out that they have this Taiwan Special Edition, but I wasn't sure whether I should buy it or not because I wanted the Album with the photobook (which was not the case with 4minutes HUH Taiwan Edition). Well, I'm happy that I ordered it because when you open the album you can see on the left the normal CD with the birthday cake design and right beside/behind there is another disc which says "U-Kiss Mini 5 MV/DVD" with the normal album cover as design. On the right there's the cute photobook. The photos are amazing, the quality is amazing, the concept is amazing. It suits them very well and I think they should do this style more often. Since I bought the Taiwan Special Edition there is also another sheet with their lyrics and thanks tos in chinese/taiwanese(?) characters. The songs: OMG, the first track "It's Time (Intro)" is really amazing! The rest of the songs, 5 more, are also amazing. U-Kiss definitely deserves more recognition. |

I picked up this album while i was in asia this summer and i definately don't regret it~ considering that the price was reasonable and i didn't have to wait for shipping ^^ I was very suprised at how much fun i had looking through the photos & trying to figure out what the korean thank you notes said~ ^^ haha...i totally couldn't stop smiling when i looked through every picture in the photobook because everything was so happy~ haha...it totally makes you wish you could jump into the picture and join them~! not to mention the songs were very catchy! I feel like it's totally worth the money~! |
