U;NEE's musical legacy will remain in our hearts.
Korean artist U;NEE tragically committed suicide on January 21, 2007, passing away at the young age of 25. U;NEE, whose original name is Heo Yoon, started acting as a teenager, appearing in several dramas and films before entering the music industry. She released her debut album 1st u;nee code in 2003, followed by Call Call Call in 2005.
Though U;NEE is gone, the performances and sounds she brought to life will remain with her fans forever. Her third album, which is also sadly her final album, contains 12 songs including hip hop tune "Solo Fantasy" (Track 4) and dance number honey, which features a touch of Indian instrumentation. Two versions of the moving ballad "Habit" (Track 5/11) can also be found on this posthumous release.

I miss you so much, U;NEE
| She had so much potential and talent...not to mention, she was gorgeous and had the sweetest personality...I truly miss her so much. I bought her albums and even her rare Japan single! It's just not enough.....I really wish her company would consider a DVD release with music videos and performances..(v_v) I just wish everyone could've seen how special she was before she left this world. She even kept a MySpace and would post comments in English..it was really cute & she wanted so bad for people to like her. I pray that somewhere she has found true happiness that she couldn't find on Earth. She left alot of people behind who loved her. Miss you, U;Nee........(v_v) I just can't believe you're gone...... |

I was actually scared to listen to this album at first. I was afraid it would be pumped full of the turmoil, pain and entrapment U;nee may have been feeling around the time this was written and recorded. To my surprise, the album carries on without a care in the world. Just another fun, roaring pop album. It was the final step in U;nee's evolution, but it made me want more. The album itself isn't anything spectacular, and indeed falls short of the hopes created with her second album, but it displays U;nee's abilities rather well. We see her tackle a real ballad (much more sincere than any of her previous ballads, which felt more like obligations than songs), and she does a very good job. This album strays further away from the techno-dance pop of her debut, but she continues with the hip-pop/rap/heavy-pop feeling found there. It all comes from a different angle though, and feels a little fresh from her. Her body of work is very small, but she covered a good amount of ground, and continually developed from one project to the next. We'll always be left to wonder where this potential could have taken her in the future. And we'll always miss her. |

I'm a big U;Nee fan, I already had her music from the interent but its not the same as having a cd. This abulm and her other abulms are worth buying. What I cannot understand is why did yesasian.com remove U;Nee poster??? I would love have a poster of her, there isn't any where i have looked. Also the only place i have seen her single one was on japanese site that i cann0ot read. so plrease U;Nee's label and yesasin.com please sale it here!!! |

This album is interesting. I love all the songs on this album except the last one "Last Christmas." I absolutely don't get why that's in there and it makes me mad. She doesn't sing in it or anything This was an album that I did have to get used to which is why I only gave it a 9. "Honey" "Sorrow Fantasy" and "Habit" are my favorites and they all are different genres, Pop, Rap, and Ballad. I wish they put the performance version of "Sorrow Fantasy" on this album and also at least instrumentals to "Honey" "Sorrow Fantasy" "Habit" or even "Call Call Call" because the track list is so small, so I couldn't give it 10 stars because this cd seemed rushed. If the company reads these, please give yesasia U;Nee's single "One," I'm dying to get it and I can't find it anywhere. I have every single one of her albums and all I need is her single. It would also be nice if there was like a dvd of all her music videos and performance. I MISS U;NEE |

I never really knew of U;nee until she passed away and I heard about it. I must say, I truly regret never of having heard her beautiful voice while she was alive. v_v U;nee was a terrific artist and her songs are so great. They always make me wanna dance. I am going to order all of her albums for myself and for my fiance'. She is someone to remember.
