Hong Kong's official "Man Who Plays Cops", Danny Lee, notches another cop thriller onto his belt with Unarm 72 Hours. Danny Lee plays the proverbial cop about to retire, and is set to call it a career after one last glorious case. The case in question involves a group of Mainland robbers, but the sting fails, and Danny ends up losing his gun! One of the robbers has possession of it, and hides out in the home of a taxi driver (character actor Sing Fui On) in hopes that the heat will die down. But with the clock ticking, and the gun still missing, nobody will stop Danny Lee from getting his gun - and his man - before it's all over! Co-starring Ellen Chan, Ken Lo Wai Kwong, and Law Koon Lan, Unarm 72 Hours is an entertaining and involving thriller featuring Danny Lee in a gratefully familiar cop role.

　　Detective, Lee is going to retire soon, has a gunfight with the thieves. Thieves Ling hide the jewelry inside the lift; Lee's gun is taken by Ling's boyfriend Wai, he escaped but Ling is arrested. Lee tries to recover his gun by himself. Gangster Kwong hijack Lee and Ling while Lee is escorting Ling, Kwong force Ling to tell where the jewelry was. Kwong wants to kill them so he can own all the jewelry, Wai only has Lee's gun, and go challenge with Kwong's firepower……
