　　江湖傳聞，在西域的祁連山有八顆龍珠藏在龍吟窟中，得之得天下。這傳聞引來了江湖豪客上官雲、孟百川、玄武、秋棠柏、賀蘭泰和雷震子等一行八人去祁連山探險。結果他們不但搶了龍珠，還把看守龍珠的神龍殺了，把龍吟窟下的察木族人屠殺凈盡。

　　六年之後江湖中突然有一個叫[我是誰]的奇人出現，他正是察木族的族長察木龍。屠村那天，他饒幸逃脫了大難，但卻失去所有記憶，到處問人自己是誰？[我是誰]變成了他的外號。

　　察木龍得到江湖第一美人天山派女俠伏天嬌和師妹伏天香的幫助，恢復了記憶，卻害死了伏天嬌，懷著新仇舊恨的察木龍決定對中原武林展開了大報復，他要把失散的龍珠尋回，為察木族的族人和愛人伏天嬌討回公道，江湖從此多事。
