Jane Zhang returns with her new album, a follow-up to her debut album, The One which was released in autumn 2006. Once an ambitious foreign-language student, Jane shot to fame in 2005 after participating in the the Super Girl singing contest, which she eventually placed third in. Now she presents her second album, which features such songs as the R&B number Dream Party, the mellow ballad "We Have Agreed On It" (Track 6), and "We Are Together" (Track 11/12). Jane's passionately interpreted melodies promise to solidify her status in the Mando-pop market.

A budding superstar Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
"Update" finds Jane Zhang in fine form, with a strong clear voice and some surprisingly bluesy touches. The album opens with a stunningly catchy upbeat dance number (I keep playing it over and over again!), then delivers a nice mix of hip-hop influenced R&B numbers and straight-ahead Mando-pop ballads, in which Jane is at her most beguiling. Miss Zhang appears to have a very bright future and I look forward to listening to her songs for many years to come.
