Album for summer Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
An album in a hurry due to the release of "Yume ga chikara" (M-1), the official Athenes Olympic Song. The album itself is more pop and positive due to the Olympic, which makes it as an tailor made album for summer. However, it is no better than "Remember me", whenever in length and quality of songs. "Sora ni taiyou Anata ni watashi" (M-4) and "Kirari" (M-6) is recommended, and "Utau hito" (M-9) is awesome since "Remember the kiss". Hope the next album will have better quality.

An Angel Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Truly...Kokia has the voice of an angel. The music score on this CD isn't my favorite, but the songs are fun and happy and Kokia shines. A must-have CD!

perfection... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
KOKIA is perfect. Why are only about 2 people trying to drag down her rating here? She deserves 5 stars for ability alone...never mind that the songs themselves aren't deep and intellectual. Who needs that? What the world needs is peace and love in harmony...and Kokia delivers. Stop trying to keep a 5 star artist down! I will support you Kokia, and am awaiting your next masterpeice.

A Gem Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I cannot believe I just discovered this CD! I am in love. Such beautiful melodies and a marvelous voice. Her voice is like that of sunshine, it's so pure. The CD, while it doesn't contain any grand plan to save the world, is light and happy. Lyrically, not deep...but sung with sincerity. This CD shows a maturity that was lacking in Kokia on her earlier releases. It also has less English, which is good because...let's face it...English is not something Kokia does very well. I didn't like her first CD at all (actually, it was awful) and the second was hit-or-miss. It had some stand-out songs on it, but some were just awful. This CD only has ONE song that I don't think is great...and it's the last one because all it is is an acoustic version of song #1. I think she could have left it off or used it INSTEAD of song #1, but both is a bit much. Other than that, this CD is LOADED with stand-out songs! The first song puts you in the tone and mood of the CD: airy and majestic. The second song is so cute with Kokia's "kiss kiss" phrase sounding adorable. The third song is a great song to sing along with...especially the chorus of "so much love for you". Song four shows Kokia's ballad ability with a great song that is not dull, but settles the listener with Kokia's charm. Song 5 is up-beat and energetic as is song 6. Song seven is a delight with a VERY catchy melody that even my son loves to hear and sing with. Song eight indeed shows Kokia has entered a "Brand New Season" in her music...it's not so juvenile and ecclectic. It's more defined and refined. The CD ends with another ballad, which leaves one with Kokia on their mind. She's easy to forget. I am eagerly awaiting her next CD and am wondering why it is taking so long. She has two singles, but I want to wait for the CD. In the past, it seems she releases two singles then the album. I hope that is the case here and the album is forthcoming. BUY KOKIA, you will not be disapointed in her pristine ability and unique charm. She's innocent and beautiful of the heart as well as a talented singer.

Amazing... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Kokia never ceases to amaze and delight with her simple, yet fun and happy songs! This CD is one of my favorites of all time. I see there is a new single (Dandelion) out...I hope a full CD is to follow. Support Kokia...she deserves far more credit than she is getting for her beautiful CDs.

This CD is by FAR Kokia's best! It's amazing and shows her diversity with songs ranging from slow and deep to fast and fun. This CD is a must-have for any collector, and the Kokia fan will NOT be dissapointed in this release. But to Kokia: please release a new CD soon! There are those of us who cannot get enough of you...

Why the bickering? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
OK, so some people like this and some people don't. But do words have to be so harsh? Really. Kokia has never been known for her deep or insightful lyrics. She does fluff well...but, it's happy music and sung well, so who cares? Can't we all use some music that is simple and just enjoyable sometimes? I do think this is an excellent CD and if you disagree...fine. But being so mean about it isn't doing anyone any good or providing any valuable information a prospective buyer. Are these songs meaningful? No. Are they nice? Yes. Does Kokia plan big orchastration music? No. Is her voice strong and clear? Yes. These are the important things...a pleasant CD that leaves one refreshed. The best tracks on here to me are #1...it's perfect for opening the CD and sets the tone of the whole disk. #6...it's a happy song with stong vocals. #7...it's delightful one of the best tracks on the CD for music composition. #8...again, like #7 it's really a great song and well put together with her vocal style and music background composition. #9...it closes out the CD as one of the few (only #4 is a ballad also) slow, pensive songs on the CD and Kokia shines on hitting rock-solid notes on this song. The words are relativelt meaningless, but she picks a difficult note and holds it perfectly with such intensity it has to be admired for sheer ability alone. Tracks #2 and #5 aren't the best, but no CD is 100% perfect. That leaves track #3 which is debabtable. Despite the poor English refrain, it grows on you with a catchy beat and it's insignificant lyrics...it's a simple love song people, no need to bash it because it lacks depth. It's just a little love tune as Kokia herself sings: So much love here, how about you? Also, that leaves track #10 which doesn't really count, because it's an acoustic version of track #1. I have to admit she would have been better to leave off at track #9 rather than re-do track #1, but whatever. It's still a worthy CD and many people like relaxing music without a lot of rap, racket and noise. This is a nice CD and while it's not mainstream in any particular category...including pop...it's its own style. Unique and worthy to be appreciated for what it is. Those that are bashing it need to let up and relax. Even the CD's title should say it all: The Power of Song. Keep listening...it's a jewel and Kokia has enough power of song to have me eagerly awaiting her next release.

Getting better with every album! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
KOKIA just keeps getting better. This album is amazing. She's showing a lot more pop-ish polish with her music, which is maybe why some people don't like it. But why fight it? Enjoy the beauty of KOKIA's diverse songs... and hey, the title track of this album didn't become the Japanese Olympic Cheering song for no reason!
