Based on Hino Matsuri's shojo manga, popular anime series Vampire Knight is set in an alternate world where humans and vampires co-exist in volatile peace. Yuki Cross is a guardian at Cross Academy where her job is to watch over the "day class" and "night class" students, helping to protect the identities of the vampire students and the lives of the human students. Yuki shares guardian duties with longtime friend Zero, a vampire hunter who became a vampire himself after getting bitten.
After Vampire Knight ended its run in July 2008, the second season, Vampire Knight - Guilty, followed quickly with its first episode in October 2008, picking up the story where the first season left off. Cross Academy has been restored to normalcy after the calamities of Season 1, but new troubles soon flare when Zero is targeted by the elders for suspected murder of Hio Shizuka.
Volume 2 of Vampire Knight - Guilty comes with Episodes 3 to 5.
