July 19, 2006 GreatWell of course you have to be at least a little sensitive for the songs to reach you. A person who only likes upbeat songs and who has never cared about deep music wouldn't be touched by a masterpiece like Kairo, or about the emotive Be my last.

About the other reviewer, saying that Monkey girl oddissey and the monster were bad albums, I have to tell you that most of DCT fans disagree with you.

March 15, 2006 Excelent.
Some people say that her vocals are bad in this song. Maybe they would change their minds if they tried singing it. This is a really difficult song, still she hits all the notes well, except for the note at 3:27.
The lyrics and melody are really emotive, it keeps moving me after all this time. But of course these "emotions" don't reach everyone. People who don't like deep songs won't like this one.
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of Hikki until I heard this.

March 15, 2006 goodThis is not her best but it's good. It's so catchy.
Qiandai , she hits perfectly those notes, and it's amazing how much control she has over those high notes. Her range is very impressive. Don't call yourself a fan if you can't appreciate her singing skills. January 30, 2006 RepetitiveI'd probably rate it higher if Cutie honey and Butterfly didn't exist. But because they exist, I can't give it more than a 7, since some parts of the song are just too similar to some parts of those songs. She is just using the same melodies that sold well over and over, and it's kinda tiring.

September 19, 2005 Amazingly beautifulOf course it's a matter of personal preferences, but even so I can't believe some people are saying that the song is ok. The song is extremely beautiful, both melody and vocals. It's just so beautiful. A very emotional song.
Songs like this are what make me love Jpop that much.
I'm not a big fan of Hikki, so I'm not saying all this just because I'm her fan. This song has impressed me so much. It'll be a big hit, I highly recommend it. I haven't heard many songs as beautiful as this one.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
