However, I found myself laughing and crying throughout the entire DVD.
Tohoshinki have come a long way in the Japanese music industry, and this Five in the Black tour being their 2nd Japanese tour, I must say that they have improved a lot overall.
In this DVD, I think it is safe to say that they sung Live for every single song, even for the fast numbers like Rising Sun, O Sei.Han.Go., Somebody to Love, High Time, so on and so forth. Singing and dancing, especially to those fast tracks, is not easy feat, but Tohoshinki manages to pull it off almost effortlessly.
The DVD packaging may not be as glamourous or classy as the rest of their DVD packaging. This DVD's packaging is simple, just a DVD case. However, I must say that the content in the DVDs definitely overrules everything.
If you are a new Tohoshinki fan, or you are doubtful of their musicical abilities, get this DVD and I'm sure you'll be sucked into the Tohoshinki fandom in no time.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

(2)Our Price: US$22.75Usually ships within 7 daysRelated promotions:April 9, 2008 Absolutely wonderful.This, folks, is my favourite Dong Bang Shin Ki single ever. This particular single was the beginning of my undying devotion to their music, albeit a little late.
Although I have been a follower of their music for quite some time, this particular single, Forever Love amazed me and left me speechless. From the little details of their PV to their wonderful harmonization of the song, this single is absolutely beautiful.
Firstly, the jacket-photoshoot is gorgeous with the nightscenes in the background, which in my opinion fits very well with the ballad itself.
Secondly, the song Forever Love itself is undoubtly one of their best songs ever. As we all know, Dong Bang Shin Ki debuted as an acappella group, and in this Single, we come to terms that even without acappella, the members voices on their own are also unbeatable.
Lastly, the PV for this song is ethereal beyond words. You would have to watch it to know what I'm talking about.

April 9, 2008 Not quite TVXQ.I must say that this single is not quite "Tohoshinki". I know that the TVXQ boys can do "cute" anytime, but I must say that this single has disappointed me. Even though it is quite catchy and bouncy, I feel that it is not all that "them".
Besides that, the PV didn't include the boys at all, and were rather little cartoon anime characters prancing about.
That said, any Tohoshinki-worshipper would definitely like to have either the CD or CD+DVD version of this as the jacket-photoshoot is set in a theatre-like mood as the main track Together is the theme song for the movie Cinnamon the Movie.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The concert, by all means say that I'm shallow, was Epic. I have never doubted their singing and dancing abilities, and this, being their 2nd Asia tour, has seriously wowed me.
Even though I have watched this concert Live, I must say that I did not hesitate at all when I decided to buy this. This concert DVD does not only showcase the boys' unbeatable vocal prowess, but it also shows how far they have come from their 1st Rising Sun concert tour.
Being an avid follower, this DVD definitely has more meaning to me than any other DVD as it marks the first time I've seen the boys live.

They ditched the usual Japanese-safe style and managed to carry out this awesome dance number well. Their mentor Lee Soo Man produced this song, so it is probably the reason why the genre is different from the rest of their Japanese singles.
This single gives me a very westernized feel with its Rhythm and Blues beats.
Usually, the CD+DVD version comes with a PV and an off-shot movie. However, this time, it comes with their Thailand concert off-shot.
