The golden blade of the title is the magnificent "Flying Dragon" sword. The only thing that can stop it is the celebrated "Silver Swallow" weapon technique. Thus the stage is set for this fast-moving story of greed, lust, death, and vengeance, starring Chin Ping as the lovely and resolute heroine. Her director is the versatile Ho Meng-hua -- the acknowledged master of the "esoteric weapon" actioner, who made of a success of everything from The Flying Guillotine to The Mighty Peking Man.

Vengence is a golden blade
| The same team from the movie "Killer darts" and the same traditional '60s swordplay stunts. In this, Chin Ping again played a swordwoman who seek revenge for her adopted father, not knowing that the culprit was her real father. That aroused moral confliction to kill or not to kill. Nothing outstanding about this movie, just watch it for the sake of Chin Ping (if you were her fan). |
