Smokin' hot~

I'm extremely impressed with this album and I'm not just talking about the pretty cover! Rock music that you can dance to, and can be similarly categorized with Ayumi Hamasaki's class. "Violation of the Rules" is one hot release that's worthy of praise! |

AMAZING !!!
| I have been a veteran listening to J-pop, I would say around five years because of my love for J culture thanks to my Uncle who got me all into it by buying me a tape of Utada Hikaru's first music videos. This is truly one of my favotites all time. First of all, her voice is one of a kind in its soothing smooth style that can go along with fast or slow music. This is her best album of all because I own two of hers. Owner will not be disappointed. Close to half of album is unique in style after first few listenings. The music can be described as traditional R&B and Ballet along with dance. It has a real emotional affect especially "Injury" & "At the Sacrifice". "Split Up" is one of a kind with its melody. Her voice is strong yet soft and comforting. Unfortunately, no overseas version like before so it costs more than normal. I just wish the group would release more quality music. Why not? I understand nothing lasts forever. |

Wow..This is a really good Cd with excellent songs to back it up.My favorite(s)would have to be "Save Me" "Violations of the rules" "Rosary" and "Injury". All the songs are pretty upbeat and have a techno beat. The booklet is pretty nice with beauitful picture of the Group members(most of HALNA).Here I'll give you a little review on all 13 of the tracks. Introduction-Nice intrumetal that leads into the first song "Violation of the Rules". Violation of the rules-The first song to the album and is a good song to start off the album.Upbeat song that has that Halness feel to it.It sounds alittle like "The Starry Skys" but still a good track. Despair-Second song that starts off with the chorus which is my favorite part of most of HAL songs. Its upbeat and has that pop/techno background. Split Up-The third track and also starts out with the chorus as the opening.Kind of slow till the chorus. Amulet-A slow song that gets upbeat at the chorus. Not much to say about this song than it's good^_^ Injury-This song could either be consider a ballad or just plain old pop song.To me Ballad and is the first ballad on the album."My Fairy Tail...My Fairy Land" Save me-GREAT SONG is upbeat with HAL amazing Techno sound. Its non-stop fast beat is what I love about it.If you liked the song "Decide" you'll like this one. At the sacrific-Well this is another ballad with a R&B background. It also has alittle Latin touch to it. Rosary-The third ballad. This song has alot of english lyrics to it.My favorite ballad on the album. Decide-This song is alot like "Save me".It also is a non-stop song with a Techno background. The starry skys-I had already heard this song on the anime series Angelic Layer it was the first end to the series.I had already listen to the single about 20 times before I got the album so It kind of died out on me.But it's still a excellent song.It sounds alot like Violation of the rules". [For you]-A ballad/pop song and the last track on the album.Wow so beauitful. Epiloge-Nice instrumetal to end te album. |
