i am her big fans, since the first her ablum to come out when i was still in high school, i remeber i need to save hard money to buy her first cd, just like dont eat lunch at that time, from now on, even she out of TVB, but i still remeber you, i hope u have new happy life, and if you have time, please come out to sing, i want to hear your new song....and vocal, it is because your every ablum, i have all of them, in her concert, she had good dance, and her four friends is so cute, i think they can be singer too, all i want to say to her, whatever her doing, i will support you forever... hope you will come out to sing again, please dont forget us!! when in this ten years, i brought her cd, it had been part of my life and my habit, good luck to you!!

Entertaining and good Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I am not her fan, but bought this DVD to see Chris Wong's appearance in her concert. Sound quality is really good, and all songs are good and a pleasure to listen to. Her voice can be heard so clearly, unlike other concert DVDs I bought. Chris is wonderful in this concert as always, and actually looks younger than his own concert. All Polygram singers, including Chris and Vivian Lai, are solid singers and professional with heart just for singing and music. Polygrams really did something wonderful to dig out all these singers. Among all other singers' concert DVDs with Chris's appearance (except Chris's own concert DVD), I found this the most entertaining.

Choices of songs are good. She seems to talk so little. She is very emotional and no doubt it is a very touching concert. I think because this is her last concert before she got married. Her father-in-law dislike her being a singer and too popular. Anyway, as for a collectible DVD, I already bought it. All songs
speak for her voice.

Great DTS sound Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This is one of the best sounding concert DVD from Hong Kong, especially the DTS version. Fairly aggressive use of surrounds for crowd noise and some music accompaniment, but Vivian's voice is very clear and solid from the front speakers. Bass is very "live concert" like in the DTS version, weaker in the DD.

Video is pretty standard fare from Hong Kong. Camera use is pretty traditional, which is great, as it is not distracting, and stays on Vivian most of the time, with no jumpy cuts like other DVDs.

Performance is solid, except for a few missed high notes, and when Vivian was crying. Still, I'm surprised at how well she was. Very moving in the 2nd half; reminds me of Priscilla Chan's concert in 1989 before she left for Syracuse. Both are "historical" performance. Highly recommended.

Farewell concert is a good one Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Vivian goes out with a big bang with her first big concert ever staged. Her talent, which is largely absent with new singing stars now-a-days, can finally be heard in a large concert hall.

Her vocals are clear and her range is evident in each of her songs. Her energy and the themes in her songs reflect an innocent and romantic era of Hong Kong pop music that has, sadly, quickly faded away.

Vivian gets to sing some songs she sung in competitions when she was younger, teams up with a group of life-long friends to sing a song about friendship, and "duets" with her very talented, song-writing friend Chris Wong. The costumes are a bit strange, but it is definitely "Lil' Yan's" style.

My only disappointment is, in several songs, she shouldn't be crying, stopping for as long as half a verse or two to compose herself. But her love for her fans is heart-felt and therefore she deserves some leeway.

This is not just recommended for Vivian fans who will sorely miss her after her departure. This DVD is a must see (and hear) for those who are not familiar or are completely new to the beautiful and musical experience that is Vivian Lai.
