Harry Potter meets Bruce Lee in Volcano High, director Kim Tae Kyun's rollicking martial arts comedy! Set in an unspecified near future, this live action adaptation of the popular comic book centers on a high school where all the students are gifted martial artists, each in possession of an amazing, otherworldly power. According to legend, the Principal possesses a secret manuscript, one that promises to grant untold supernatural power to its user, a fact that practically assures one the ability to dominate the martial world. Jyang Ryang (Kim Su Ro) teams up with the Vice Principal (Byung Hee Bong) to usurp the manuscript from the Principal's possession, and ends up framing the school's top student, Song Hak Rim (Kwon Sang Woo, from Love So Divine and My Tutor Friend) in the process. The students themselves are already broken up into various factions, and with Hak Rim nowhere to be found, the school is sent into a tailspin as the various clubs battle it out to see who's really number one!

During these constant melees, Jang Ryang sets his sight on Yoo Chae Yi (Shin Min Ah, from Sad Movie and A Bittersweet Life), but it turns out he's not the only one with an interest in the school's "Ice Queen Beauty." Recent transfer student Kim Kyung Soo (Jang Hyuk, from Please Teach Me English and Windstruck) likes her as well, but his true character remains an enigma. The guy has been kicked out of eight schools and since he has no desire to make it nine in a row, Kyung Soo chooses not to fight and keeps his distance from the clubs. But with Chae Yi's encouragement, will Kyung Soo make a stand? Or is he a coward? Or could he be, quite possibly, the strongest martial artists of them all?

Great fun I just thank jebus for this site. Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I just love the goofy over the top attitude of this film. Yes they don't really explain the reasons behind the pupils fighting prowess but this wasn't a big enough issue to dent my enjoyment. The action is great, the effects cool and the main characters goofiness made me smile.

I am so thankful to sites like this one that allow me to buy movies in the original language as the idea of snoop and co dubbing the voices (the american version) makes my ears bleed.

If there is such a school, parents have to be beware! All the kids are crazy, so as the teachers. It is hard to understand, and a waste of time to watch, but if you like ku fu or super power films, then guess you won't find this too bad.

I FIND IT A LITTLE HARD TO UNDERSTAND HOW THE MOVIE STARTED TO GIVE SUPER POWERS TO THESE KIDS. THERE WAS NOT HISTORY AS TO HOW THEY ACQUIRED THESE EXCPT FOR THE BOOK WHICH WAS NOT EVEN HANDED OUT TO THE KIDS.

STAR STUDDED...REASON I GOT MY COPY, OTHERWISE, I WAS CONFUSED UNTIL THE END OF THE MOVIE.

Great Movie Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a really good movie. I was at Blockbuster when I saw this and it had Koreans and Hip Hop stars on it and I was like "Are they dubbing a korean movie into something horrible". So I got it and I was happy they had a Korean version because I can not stand english dubs of anime made for little kids and I was afraid to see what they had done to it in english so I watched the Korean version and it was amazing. This video is very well explained. It explains the characters, the plot, and the seeting well. It had a lot of comedy with action and I love anything with both of them in there. It was really my type of movie and I absolutely love it.
