w-inds. 10th Anniversary -Three Fourteen- at Nippon Budokan (Japan Version) DVD Region 2

In addition to two compilation albums and their 30th single release, dance group w-inds. also celebrated their 10th anniversary with a spectacular concert at the Nippon Budokan on April 28, 2011. Postponed from its original March 14, 2011 date due to the March 11 earthquake and tsunami, the Three Fourteen at Nippon Budokan show made a visually dazzling use of LED lights that also consumed only one-fifth of the usual energy needed. Now, the two-and-a-half-hour concert, featuring the LED lights and the group's first circle-shaped stage, is coming out on DVD. As a celebration of their career, the concert's set list was voted by the fans.

今年デビュー10周年を迎え、ダンスボーカルユニットとして確固たる地位を築き、 さらに8月17日(水)には30枚目のシングルとなる「YOU & I」をリリースしたw-inds.。 その10年の活動の集大成として4月28日に日本武道館にて行われたライブ「w-inds. 10th Anniversary -Three Fourteen-」の模様が完全収録されたライブDVD「w-inds. 10th Anniversary -Three Fourteen- at 日本武道館」の発売が決定。

もともとはデビュー日に当たる3月14日に予定されていたこのライブでしたが、東日本大震災による延期を経て、約1ヵ月後に行われたこの記念ライブはファンクラブを通じて、事前にファンから投票され、上位にランクインされた楽曲を中心に構成されました。照明はLEDを導入し、通所の1/5の電力で運営され、被災者のファンも数多く来場し、いわばファンとw-inds.が一緒になって創り上げたプレミアムなライブとなり、ライブ開催後よりファンから作品化の問い合わせが殺到していました。

DVDには約2時間半に及ぶライブを完全収録。日本武道館の構造を最大限利用したw-inds.初の円形ステージでダイナミックな映像とリンクしたパフォーマンスが展開されています。デビュー前の初々しい10年前のストリートライブの映像が流れたり、ライブ中盤では KEITAのフェイヴァリット・アーティストであるエリック・ベネィのカヴァーや、RYUICHIのバンドパフォーマンス、RYOHEIのソロダンスなど、10年をただ振り返るだけではなく、メンバーひとり一人にスポットを当てたコーナーを設け、ソロの見所をふんだんに盛り込み、メンバーそれぞれのファン全員が満足できる仕様となっています。
