婉君八歲時被賣到周家當衝喜的新娘﹐雖與伯健有夫妻之名﹐但婉君在和周家三兄弟相處過程中﹐漸對叔豪產生好感。宋家是周家的世交﹐宋家有意將女兒尚琪許配給仲康﹐仲康自己極為反對。但在家人的逼迫下﹐同意了婚事﹐而事後仲康發現自己深愛著婉君﹐於是毅然退婚﹐並當眾向婉君表明心意﹐而叔豪也表示同樣深愛婉君﹐這使婉君極為難堪。婉君和仲康在朋友的輔助說明下私奔未遂﹐婉君懸樑自盡被叔豪救起。
仲康在抗義帝國主義侵略的行動中身受槍傷﹐幸尚琪細心照料才得以復原﹐於是仲康決定娶尚琪為妻。但婚後﹐仲康一直對婉君念念不忘﹐周母便把婉君趕回娘家。遭舅母百般虐待﹐婉君的表哥想強暴她﹐嫣紅奮力營救﹐反遭強暴。婉君和嫣紅逃出家門﹐跑到外面賣東西維生﹐卻遭到旁人的歧視﹐最後在仲康的百般請求下﹐婉君答應到周家並與伯健夫妻重聚﹐叔豪也娶湖南苗族少女為妻﹐全家滿堂諧喜。

Similar to other China version qiong yao VCDs, sound quality is no good. There is no sync with lips. Nonetheless, I have enjoyed the story.

Another Qiong Yao classic!! Two brothers fell in love with their eldest sister in law. Their eldest learned the truth and decided to leave the house leaving his young wife. His younger brothers felt guilty and left the house too. The woman was unhappy with what happened and decided to leave the household and travelled with her maid. In the end, she met her husband again and they got back together. Happy ending, though!! Good story and very entertaining.
