Frances Mo (Carol Cheng) is a very capable and acute solicitor in town, always bossing people around her. That perhaps explains her failure in finding a boyfriend despite her physical beauty. One day when she returns to her office after vacation, a jolt is there to await her. The law firm has undergone a complete restructuring and now she has a new assistant Lok, a seemingly vulgar and womanizing paralegal counsel. The two start their quarrel when they first meet each other, under the most unexpected circumstances in the men's bathroom. Since then they keep on criticizing, sneering, and yelling at each other. But for economic reasons, Miss Mo has to move in the company's staff quarter to live with Lok - and his buddy, a cockroach...
