it was good
it was good
| i didn't know if i wanted to try this movie because i don't understand Japanese at all. but people keep on telling me that it's good and funny and all. i gave in and watched it and had to keep reading the subtitle. not something i like to do but under the circumstances i had to. it was good. it had its funny moments here and there. the lead actor is very young looks like a high school kid as is who is portraying. the swimming was good. |

Waterboys Review

I saw this movie in my Japanese class and I loved it. It was so funny, I had to buy it. I watched it with my family and we all laughed trouhght the whole film! You can watch it again and again and still laugh.One of the funniest movies I've ever seen! |

It's not funny at all

A real gem of a movie

I purchased the 2 disk VCD set of Water Boys figuring if it was not that great it would not be a big loss. Turns out it is GREAT! We loved this movie. My wife and I are 50+ and our daughter is 25 years old. We watched Water Boys together and laughed out loud. The cinematography is very professional, the sound is fine and the video playback(on our multi-region DVD player) was flawless. If you want a fun 90 minutes of quality entertainment this is the film. |

Brilliantly Funny
| This movie is brilliantly funny and goofy. Loosely based on a true story, about a group of boys who perform syncronized swimming at their local high school festival. The troubles and tribulations that they have to overcome in order to adequately perform at the festival is absolutely hilarious. |

The best Japanese film ever
| I can't believe no one has written a review about this film yet. I mean this is the best Japanese film you will ever see because it is so hilarious and it has some very unusual characters which you will just love. |
