이제는 흑인음악의 스타일과 한국인의 정서를 함께 가져가는 진정한 한국식 흑인 음악을 모색할 때가 왔다. 휘성 3집 [For the moment]는 바로 그에 대한 해답을 제시하는 앨범이다. [For the moment]는 한 발짝 더 나아간다. 이것은 흑인 음악의 감각을 받아들이되 한국인의 감성을 놓치지 않는 조화를 통해 이루어진다. 타이틀곡 '불치병'은 현란한 힙합 비트와 마스타우의 랩피처링, 휘성의 리드미컬한 보컬로 대중이 흑인음악에서 기대하는 비트를 충족시키지만, 동시에 한국적인 감성의 멜로디라인과 박력 넘치는 현악 세션을 통해 사람들의 마음에 쉽게 파고들수 있는 느낌을 가지고 있다. 이번 앨범은 발라드 트랙을 좋아하는 팬들을 위한 '누구와 사랑을 하다가'와 '내 눈물보다' 두 곡을 제외한 모든 곡들을 보다 흑인음악 스타일에 가까운 곡으로 채워 넣었고, 그 중 대부분은 지금 당장 클럽에서 틀어도 사람들을 열광시킬 수 있는 보다 강한 비트와 흥겨운 그루브가 느껴지는 곡들로 채웠다. Unbelievable!
| My favorite music genre is R&B and Hip-hop and I happen to be from the US/Michigan. When I travel, I like to pick up local talent that's hot. So going to Korea was no exception. I'd would like to thank the sales clerk for introducing me to Whee sung, because he is an awesome singer. I loved the whole album even not understanding Korean. Whether it is smooth ballads or up tempo tracks, he can do it all. He truly has "Soul" in his soul. I haven't been able to put the cd down. After listening to this cd, I went and bought the other 2 which were also amazing. Whee sung, if you ever read your reviews, please keep making excellent music, because I will surely buy it and love it. |

Amazing!
| I bought the album when it first came out, I dind't really listen to it, but then this morning as I was getting ready for work, I decided to pop it into my cd player... the first two songs I sort of skipped, I wasn't up for a past beat type of song at 6 in the morning...heck I was bartely awake! Track 3 I liked but the song that kept me wanting to hit that "repeat" button was "Sarang Eun", it was soft and easy on the ears for me. I listened to the whole album, even on my way to work, and I love the cd! Wheesung, as an artist, can show you many tricks with his voice...from his ballads to his more upbeat songs, his music is one you won't grow tired of. He has one of the most powerful voices in the k-pop world, and through all his albums, especially this one, you get to live it and understand why his music is so great. A great cd, I suggest you add it to your collection today! |

Worth your money
| While Im a big Wheesung fan honetly this is not the best of his three albums not much power in his voice in this album like the previous two. But that a side this album is still great with great tracks like the Ttitle track which is a great song. All I can say is keep making great albums Wheesung and all I'll keep buying them. |
