It's beautiful n_n Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I love this Winter single and it's played every year! I love "White Light" and it's one of my FAVORITE Winter ballads ever. "Violet Sauce" is nice, but I perfer the (Spicy) version on the "Play" album more. No one should be without this single this Christmas! >_< Oh, you poor children!!! Here, here! Listen to my recommendations for Winter: (=P)

Ayumi Hamasaki "No Way To Say" CD, Mika Nakashima "Yuki no Hana" CD, Ai Otsuka "Pocketto" CD, BoA "LOVE LETTER" CD, and this one! ^_^ Have A Happy Christmas!

.....the Queen Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
well, the x mas song is pretty! I do enjoy that. But Violet Sauce.......???? um I cant quite take the song seriously. Dip it in the violet sauce? The first time I heard the song, Namie was singing it live on some show, and she was even acting out dipping something...it just made me laugh, I suppose.

Powerful single Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Namie Amuro delivers a powerful single yet again. White light is a refreshing Christmas song. While Violet sauce is by far one of Amuro's best song yet. I absolutely love it. It is a very catchy R&B song. This is one of my favorite Amuro singles. Any Namie fan will love this single.

10/10 beautiful contrast Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Violet Sauce is a mysterious song sung in a low tone, while White Light is a warm/cheery Xmas song sung in a sweet/high tone. Both songs are catchy to the extreme. This single is a must get for the Christmas time. The Voilet Sauce remix is an awesome song by itself, which is just as good as the original mix.

Joy to the world.... Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
There was something about this single i didnt like at the beginning. White Light is just a xmas song with bells and all the xmassound that every xmas song contains, that and nothing more. Then I was cought up by the xmas spirit and I was hooked. I like her soft voice and it suits perfect to this kind of song.
Violet sauce, a dancebeat song. Not a single xmasbeat in the whole song! I had to give this song a couple of listenings and now its stuck in my head.

If you like the beat and "feeling" in her Queen of hiphop, im sure you'll like this one as well.

White Light Shines! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
After pulling off an amazingly hot, upbeat and memorable album, "Queen of Hip-Pop," Amuro Namie has returned with a winter ballad that is sure to be as touching as last year's lovely, "ALL FOR YOU." Namie has always had a talent for ballads, in my opinion, and she showcases that talent excellently with this release. "White Light" mixes in Namie's love for R&B with her voice, but stays true to a Japanese POP feel with the rhythm throughout. The lyrics are an adorable love song for Christmas, and the beat is steady but lulling as well. When the lyrics speed up occasionally towards the end of a chorus, the song shows its originality. Turning away from that soft, pristine image of a girl promising her love under the white light of Christmas, "Violet Sauce" comes bumping out. "Violet Sauce" may not have an entirely original sound to it, nor is Namie's voice as strong as it could, but this songs begs to be played loudly. Sometimes I feel like as if Namie hasn't put her all into some of her R&B/Hip Hop releases. "Violet Sauce" is almost in that category, but the song is too good for that. Fortunate for this release, "White Light" is the lead single. Japanese people love their Christmas ballads more than R&B/Hip Hop in their mainstream media commercials.

Gotta Have It Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
After Namie's album, Queen of HipHop, I haven't heard from her since. However, with her new single, it was worth waiting. White Light is a perfect Christmas song. Her vocals are great and you gotta love the melody of it as well. Violet Sauce has a more 'darker' side but it has a catchy, kind of up-beat melody which is always a pretty good song. I highly recommend this.

Perfect. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This single is absolutely great! White Light is a beautiful Christmas song, reminds me of winter nights. It's going to be great for the Christmas season. Violet Sauce is a cool catchy song that stays in head through out the whole day. It's great that Namie Amuro was able to make this single during this season. I couldn't ask for anything more from this single, it's perfect.

Excellent Single Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
White Light is a warm and nice ballard which reminds people of the approaching Christmas. It may not be catchy, but it is certainly a gentle song which grows on you the more you listen to it. Violet Sauce, on the other hand, is a dark and catchy song. Amuro sang it with such grace and power that really maximise the potential of the song. Violet sauce is one of the best song i heard so far. The songs of this single is of an excellent combination, a warm ballard plus an excellent song. Well done Amuro!!!!!

Another 2 face single. >< Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
After im done with my mihimaru gt 2 face single, it is another 2 face single, but for this single is a good thing after all. White Light is a decent good song, it basicly a christmasty song after all, a really slow, not catchy song, but namie done is great, with an extra of great PV as well. The b-side, which is Violet Sauce, is the OST for SIN CITY in japan. It is a catchy song, with a sense of dark side. Therefore, light and dark is a well done combination. ><, it's basicly a great single, but i dun really like Violet Sauce. ><
