Abe Hiroshi becomes a father who tries to salvage relations with the daughter he never knew in Fuji TV's 2009 drama White Spring (a.k.a. Shiroi Haru). Child actress Ohashi Nozomi, best known as the singer of the Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea theme song, plays his young co-star.
