Korean "Yupki Girl" Jeon Ji-hyun's debut movie "White Valentine" is now available at YesAsia.com!
Structured a simple plot, Yang Yron-ho, director of "Libera Me," presents an interesting mix of letter, dove and snow scenery, describing a woman's re-encounter with her pen-pal from 20 years ago in the film "White Valentine."
A red apple is drawn on the white envelope, where a loving name of Park Hyeon-Jun is found. The naughty little girl Jeong-Min writes letters to a soldier cheating that she were a teacher. After years, this grown-up girl meets a 30-year-old youth comes to her hometown. He takes care of an injured dove, and flies the dove with letter for his dead lover every night. One day, he suddenly gets a letter from the sky. The letter sent by the dove is an excitement for Jeong-Min as those letters contain somebody's loneless, solitude and warm heart.
At last, Hyeon-Jun leaves the town flying the last dove with letter to Jeong-Min, in order to escape from the new love. Jeong-Min finlly remembers him as a special pen-pal in her young days. She flies dove with wool to confirm his identity...
The male lead Park Shin-yang also performed excellently in various pieces such as "Hi Dharma!" "The Letter," and "Promise." Don't miss "White Valentine," if you are a fan of Jeon Ji-hyun and Park Shin-yang!

I enjoyed it a lot!

Many seem to miss the magic of this director's story. Though much of the story seems to revolve around birds, it is really about how this white dove (a symbol of peace) can bring complete strangers together. One who nurses the other in a subtle way. Both strangers find eachother, and realize they have met before. An extremely adorable lovestory that takes a little bit of thought to really understand the director's view. I loved it. The Cinematography is peaceful, serene, a bit slow, but nice nonetheless. The actress is great, and the lead actor is skilled at playing a bird-otaku. I recommend it. |

Not really a valentine!
| The shots wre dibilidating! so BORING! too bad for park shin yang. The story is good though except the director has since forgotten its supposed to tell one. just really too bad of a directorial job. |

Boring
| I find this film so boring. I did not even notice that the lead guy is Park Shim Young. His not good looking in this film. I thought it just 'somebody'. The story is all about dove and birds, doves and birds, doves and birds. Forget it. |

This movie was bring me back some where ,some time my past. The film so "PEACEFULL,LOVELY,ROMANTIC" Best picture, best actress, same as most Best Classic Drama.If you do not like violent movies then you will like it.As you know Jeon Ji Huyn even very young and new in Korean's movies industrial but all her Romantic-Comedy movies at top list all the time. |

| i bought the movie thinking that it was going to be good, but i didn't like it. there was hardly any close up shots on the characters. the plot wasn't any good. but the storyline i like. |
