GREAT ALBUM!
|
When I first received this album, I was surprised and very happy that it has a very special case and a photobook! This album contains her best hits from her debut in 1999 until 2003, it's the best album for those who just start to listen to Mai's music. I nearly like every song on this album, most of all 'Love, Day After Tomorrow', 'Stay by my side', 'Secret of my heart', 'Winter Bells', 'Always' and 'Tonight, I feel close to you', but the other songs are also very good. The photobook includes many beautiful images of Mai. So if you want to get to know Mai better, buy this album! |

Great compilation
|
This is a great compilatin of Mai's biggest hits (like Love, Day After Tomorrow, Stay by my side, Secret of my heart, Stand Up, Kaze no la la la and Time after time)from her debut single to her 4th album. It also includes Tonight, I feel close to you a nice ballad which Mai recorded with Sun Yan-Zi. This is a must buy album for all Mai fans. Wish You The Best is released with photobook with beautiful photos. |

| This is the first album i ever bought from yesasia. i heard some of her songs before buying this album, for example 'love day after tomorrow, stand up, secret of my heart, reach for the sky.etc' and they sound really nice so i decided to get this album to keep. i just love it so much. i spend about 2 weeks just listening to Mai, over and over again. |

Impressive!
Impressive!
|
"Wish You The Best" is a good album, not great, but still very good. The album is a compilation of most of Mai Kuraki's singles, but it is missing some and that is disappointing. Some notable songs on the album are: "Love, Day After Tomorrow," an R&B track that showcases the similarities between early Mai and early Utada Hikaru, but aside from that, the track is very enjoyable and more upbeat/up-tempo than Hikaru's early work. "Secret of my heart" is one of my favorite Mai songs. It is very similar to "Stay by my side" but I prefer "Secret of my heart" because of its faster music and more upbeat tone. "Reach for the sky" is the albums first ballad-like song and despite being overshadowed by some later tracks, when listening to it again, this track stands out as the gem of Mai's "Perfect Crime" era releases. "Feel fine!" is one of Mai's biggest hits. This song is the perfect kind of summer song; upbeat and effervescently happy. "Like a star in the night" is a piano and string laden ballad. The song is one my favorites and is very soothing in spite of Mais voice not always being able to fill out the expansive song. "Time after time ~Hana mau machi de~" is a light and airy mid-tempo track that is very sweet and features some of Mai's best vocals. |

A Mai K's Fan Delight
|
This is simply a great compilation of Kuraki Mai's top 16 hit songs since her debut album, Delicious Way. Songs like "Stay By My Side" and "Love, Day After Tomorrow" should not be missed. Her cute, yet modern sound is a real treat. This a Mai K's fan delight. One compilation full of hits and non-stop fun. |

Wow
| This album is great. This is my first Mai album so this album lets me see the best side of her. Besides that, its really good value. You get a almost-full CD with 16 tracks, a nice special case, and an extra (thick) booklet, full of her pictures. |

Good stuff
| Mai Kuraki may not show the range of Hikaru Utada, but I must say the overall quality of this album is better than the typical Utada. All the songs are at least solid, while some are very good. She definetely had the help of just good songs in general. You can't go wrong with this. I rarely rate albums this high. The is the best "Jpop" album since Hamasaki's A Best. And that one is just a classic, so comparing the 2 is a testiment to the greatness of this album. |

...The Best
| This album is a compliation of Mai-K's singles releases in the winter as a gift--therefore it makes such a wonderful winter/x-mas gift. This album is simply wonderful, woth all of Mai-K's best songs. I was surprised to hear this album's version of "Time After Time ~Hanamau Machi De~" because the intro music was remixed and sounds very nice--it really suits the winter theme. |
