As Tears Go By (1989)

Days of Being Wild (1991)
Days of Being Wild sets up Wong's consistent themes of alienation and isolation. The film pools together a star-studded cast including Leslie Cheung, Maggie Cheung, Carina Lau, Andy Lau, Jacky Cheung, and Tony Leung Chiu. The film centers around a stubborn and careless young man York's yearning for finding out who his biological mother is. He gets acquainted with a lonely submissive bar girl (Maggie Cheung) and a beautiful club hostess/dancer (Carina Lau) before leaving his whole life behind in search of the truth which may ultimately destroy him. The film captured the Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor awards at the 1991 Hong Kong Film Awards.

Chungking Express (1994)
Winner of Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor at the 1995 Hong Kong Film Awards, this charming and breezy Hong Kong classic is considered by some to be the director's signature work! Tony Leung Chiu Wai and Takeshi Kaneshiro star as a pair of cops who roam Hong Kong at night. Fallen Angels (1995)
Fallen Angels takes the styles and themes presented in Chungking Express and pushes them even further, delving deeper into Hong Kong's sleepless nights to find characters who've truly fallen from grace. Leon Lai is a disaffected hitman who enters a relationship of convenience with a heartbroken flirt (Karen Mok), while his emotionally damaged partner (Michelle Reis) pines for him silently. Meanwhile, a mute child-like grifter (Takeshi Kaneshiro) finds one-sided love with a brassy young woman (Charlie Young), who's also suffering from a broken heart. As Hong Kong's neon nights drag on, these five desperate souls crisscross and collide in hilarious, romantic, and completely surprising ways.
