WOW sees Bibi taking on a wide variety of musical genres and styles, turning this album into a veritable one-woman musical. "No Rest All Year" (Track 1) is a fusion of R&B, a cappella, and rap, while "What" (Track 8) is a hard rock number very different from the singer's usual style. Bibi also tries out big band swing with "Cat's Adventure" (Track 7) and dance retro with "A Fool's Genius" (Track 6), and experiments with different singing styles in Oh Yes!! and "All To Meet You" (Track 4). Playing with lyrics, "Repetitive" (Track 3) makes use of a limited set of connected characters and phrases, and "Perspiration" (Track 10) champions environmental protection with humorous lyrics sprinkled with internet lingo.
After spending some time studying in the U.S., Bibi returned to China with music on her mind, and the result is two albums that once again attest to her musical talents. Renowned composers and lyricists from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan like Zhang Yadong, Peter Kam, Andrew Chu, Kubert Leung, Lin Xi, and Chan Siu Kei participated in Bibi's new albums, and the cover design and photography are the work of Tomas Chan and Wing Shya.

NOW vs WOW 周筆暢PK周筆暢 BiBi × BiBi 雙倍的音樂感動
周筆暢不單在音樂上追求新意，在發片方式上也要來個根本的顛覆，同步發行《NOW》&《WOW》“雙生專輯”。這不是偶像歌手們的慣技-多拍幾張封面的作法，這是集合了張亞東、朱敬然、梁翹柏、林邁可、鐘成虎、李玖哲等位位都是獨當一面的金牌製作人精心製作的兩張專輯，結合詞曲作者林夕、林邁可、李玖哲、Jae Chong、崔惟楷、朱敬然、梁翹柏、徐偉賢、葛大為、李焯雄等扎扎實實製作的２０首歌。
兩張“雙生專輯”由李焯雄出任創意／策畫統籌，並由香港的夢幻團隊名攝影師Wing Shya 和造型大師Tomas Chan 負責攝影和造型，加上李谷一老師的合唱助陣，簡直是不可能的陣容。
《NOW》和《WOW》雙生專輯概念像是電影的上下集，她的未來就是現在，現在也是未來，一體兩面，如同孿生的兩個她。
已在內地發行的雙生專輯《Now》跟《Wow》，僅發行兩周就強勢拿下中國內地最大網購網站JOYO的2007年度專輯冠軍和季軍，創了該網購的歷史記錄，可謂是音樂界的奇蹟。

,but average package design. I was excited about getting this album, after I listened to it a few times and fell in love with the sound. I didn't know what was the difference in content between the Taiwan version and the Mainland China version, but I was expecting a lot more from the Taiwanese version, which cost me roughly twice as much. The album comes in a standard DVD case (don't know whether that's a regular thing in Asian albums), covered with a flimsy cardboard cover - just like the one from the $9.99 DVD offers - the songbook has only the lyrics of the songs, and credits with no photos. The music is worth getting, perhaps buying the album in digital form... but not the product design. Music: 4.5/5 Physical Album: 2/5 |
