WXIII: Patlabor The Movie 3 (DTS Version) (Taiwan Version) DVD Region 3

Patlabor, or Mobile Police Patlabor, is a classic name to anime fans. The police mecha franchise is the brainchild of Headgear, which consists of screenwriter Ito Kazunori, composer Kawai Kenji, scenarist Yuki Masami, character designer Takada Akemi, and, most notably, director Oshii Mamoru. The popular franchise has over the years spawned a manga, three anime series, and three feature-length films, the first of which was released in 1989. Directed by Takayama Fumihiko and Endo Takuji, WXIII: Patlabor the Movie 3 was released in 2002, 13 years after Patlabor 2. Like other entries in the storied sci-fi franchise, WXIII revolves around crimes involving labors, or labor robots, but this time with new characters.

Timeline-wise, WXIII takes place between the events of the first and second films. After a series of mysterious attacks on labors, detectives Kusumi and Hata are assigned to investigate the attacks along with the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Special Vehicle Division. As they dig deeper into the case, Kusumi and Hata slowly uncover a web of deception that traces back to the U.S. and Japanese military and a biological weapons program, codename Wasted XIII, that went terribly wrong.

　　東京灣沿岸發生了一連串的LABOR襲擊事件，負責此案的城南署的久住及秦這兩名刑事，也因為遲遲無法找出真正犯人而感到困擾。秦在此時刪好認識了擔任大學講師的牙子，並漸漸地對她產生好感。持續著搜查行動的秦與久住，在東京灣上的儲備基地遇到了將人類一個個吞噬的「怪物」，原以為此「怪物」就是這一連串事件的真正兇手，沒想到「怪物」遺留於現場的肉塊，卻讓整起事件產生了一百八十度的大轉變，同時也波及到了警視廳、防衛廳及特車二課，甚至還發現了秦所不知道的牙子的另一面。此時，怪物再度出現於東京灣，為了結束這場悲痛的戰役，英格拉姆於是挺身而出……
