"Xenosaga" has always put the spotlight on the phenomenal story and the characterization since the "Xenogear" era. Game features, however, seem to be secondary. Jr. moving in the big map
Maze Hunt
Players go into the maze in the form of either your character or vehicle depending on how the story goes. Some caves may be too small for you to get into together with your vehicle and so you have to walk in the character mode. In such cases, enemies you encounter are not that huge. Entering mazes with bigger entrances, players can of course go exploring under the protection of your vehicle. Though it is likely that you will have to deal with enemies in enormous vehicles or some other gigantic monsters. There are also a number of secret doors and traps awaiting you in these big mazes, so you still have to abandon your vehicle for a while and go treasure hunting.

Pillar found
In Character Mode
Playing in the form of characters, you may find some hidden places which can only be discovered in the character mode. Then you can look for those treasure chests in the maze or some other smaller objects scattered around. You can also break obstacles ahead of you such as pillars and big rocks into pieces simply by pressing the "□" button.

Destroying obstacles in vehicles
In Vehicle Mode
Those secret doors may be out of your reach when players are in the vehicle mode. But you can still do some damage to the massive objects blocking your way. From time to time, letting yourself out of the vehicle is necessary to proceed in the game. However, exposed in flesh and blood, you have to face the more powerful enemies.

36 Missions in Total
Three Mini Games
These three mini games are not directly related to the storyline but they do give you the chance to win some useful treasures. So go and have some fun!

Be a Savior
This is a mini game you can have when SHION, the main character, reaches The Second MIRCEA. A survey is being taken in The Second MIRCEA to find out what kinds of trouble the inhabitants are having. Your task is to help them go back to their normal and happy life. There are a total of 36 missions for you to fulfill and they each have their different conditions. Are you confident to restore peace and order to every single one of the people?

She can tell you the secrets behind those doors!
Secret Doors
There are 18 secret doors in this world and each of them needs a special key. Behind these doors are useful components for you to design the strongest vehicle in the game.

Okay? Customer Review Rated Bad 2 - 2 out of 10
Well, I got an English version of it but anyhow... This is a great and easy game IF you have played the first part... though they say that you can play this even if you haven't played the first game, It's a lie! It's absolutely impossible! Nothing really makes sense and there are alot of rules for battling... Your suppose to load your saved game from your first game to make things easier but i've never played the first one... Other than that it's a pretty interesting game... But the characters are quite... funky looking...?? You'll probably be better off playing Final Fantasy instead if you like RPGs...
