RRC-Excellent Drama/Comedy
| RRC is my introduction into Korean drama/comedy and I'm hooked. I immediately bought the English subtitled version since I did not see some episodes on AZN. The story line is great and the actors are very effective. I agree that Kim Rae Won just stole the show with his superb acting. He effectively shows an amazing range of emotions/behaviors- from the childish jerk to the responsible/changed "father-to-be" and friend who started realizing he really loves Jung-Eun. Jung Da-Bin is great in portraying the strong/tomboyish but loving and responsible Jung Eun. Her character's feisty but child-like character is very charming and she portrays it very well. I disagree that a prettier actress would have made a better chemistry. One of the key points of the story that appeals to many people is that of a plain looking but hardworking and loving woman who has the right values and who suffered a lot throughout the story eventually wins in the end. Had they put a more beautiful actress, it may not have made a unique, interesting and mass-appealing show. I hope to see these 2 actors paired together again in the future. I'm looking for more Korean dramas nowadays and I'm not even Korean. |

a must-watch!!!!
| I wanted to watch this mainly because of Kim Rae Won. I really thought Jung Da Bin ,the female lead ,was very skinny and plain looking. But, as I watched it ,I found her to be cute, really suitable for KRW's character. Jung Da Bin is a great comedy actress and I just loved this story so much (incl. KRW, of course!). It will make you laugh and feel so sad at times too.. So, my advice is, don't let first impressions fool you. Jung Da Bin is now one of my favourite actresses! |

I am half way through the drama and still don't understand what is the story all about. The very unpleasant lead actress is a pain to watch. Her role as an innocent and kind character has backfired, she looks more like an idoit. Especially the repeated scenes of her drooping her saliva while sleeping is really disgusting. I bought the set of DVD after seeing the good review but was totally disappointed. The only thing worth watching in this drama is the gorgeous and charming lead actor - Kim Rae Won. I would not recommend this show to anyone, is a waste of time. |

Don't MISS IT!!!

I thought this series is a comedy. I kept shedding tears intermittently. Its such a touching series. So funny yet so heartwarming!! One of the best Korean Drama I have seen. The "Love Song" here is just the best!!! I shed buckets of tears everytime it becomes the background music while a romantic or a piteous scene is being played out.... In fact the songs are intelligently chosen to compliment the changing moods of this drama. From cute n bubbly to drop dead romantic songs.... Da Bin is very convincing in her role and very cute too!! Kim Rae Won- he just rocks. I love the way he carries his clothes. They are a perfect match. I hope they have another series together. A must watch!!! It will tug your heartstrings (towards the north south west east...you name it) for sure!!! |
