December 20, 2005 Unoriginal? *cough*Tl, how can you say this movie is unoriginal when it is based on a manga which already is years old and is Japans best selling manga ever having already sold over 20 million copies in Japan alone? This movie is great and EVERY nana fan HAS to buy their own DVD version of it to watch whenever you want! Newcomers to nana will not be dissapointed. The only reason I am not rating it 10 out of 10 as it is a based on already exsisting storyline and is sped up to fit most of it in. It could probably be much better if it had it's own new storyline. When I first saw this CD, I had no idea who are what Tommy Heavenly6 was, her style of music or any idea what her voice was. After I got the chance to listen to the album, I found it on replay for 5 hours. It is that good. If you are into rock with a little pinch of childish vocals, you'll love this. If you are a fan of good rythms and tunes to start with, you love this anyway!! A MUST BUY for Tomoko Kawase fan! The queen of the screen definately does not lower her standards in the music industry. Her wonderful voice easily matches all the genres she ventures with this album, whether it'd be cutesy songs, pop and techno (yup, all in this album, even before half way!). December 9, 2005 Breakthrough album!Lets see, with already 8 of the 16 tracks released, we already have a pop/rock/techno song, rock ballad, generic jpop, rock, ballad, traditional japanese, gospel/pop, american style ballad and 7 GREAT PVS! What more could you ask from Ayu? IMO, this has got to be her most dynamic album release ever. Unlike her past albums (bar her mini-album), this album deals with multiple genres and feelings, like Memorial Address did. On top of this, all the singles released so far have all been wonderful, the covers are great (well, atleast the CD+DVD is), all the PVs so far are top-grade and award-worthy (she better win this year!) and if you are quick enough, you even get a 70+ full colour Ayumi photobook this it! December 9, 2005 Bold & Delicious? DEFINATELY!!This single (despite many people's views on it) is definately a treasure in my books! This single is quite special for two reasons. One, that this single was produces to experiment on how the Japanese would view this new Ayu (as commented by Ayu in a magazine) and two, because the composer (GEO from SWEETBOX) is very different to Ayu's usual composers ^_^ Bold & Delicious is a wonderful track which WILL scare purist Ayu fans as it is SO different to any other Ayu-release ever. Very unique and very catchy :) The song is just that, prompting the listener to be Bold & Delicious. A song of courage and inspiration! Pride on the other hand, is in complete contrast. I love this song too and the vocals are perfect! The only problem with it for me is the composistion and arrangement. I tend to like rock/pop moreso than this. Also, the cover and booklet pictures are wonderful!!
Both of the remixes are great and the PVs both very refreshing :) They were both shot in NY and are very pretty. My only problem with the release of this album is that it was released too close to the album, making the sales very poor compared to other singles and ayu haters and lover thinking that it sold poorly due to the quality of the song :(Did you find this review helpful? This collection is simply great. All 23 of his singles, all 23 of his PVs of those singles PLUS great packaging and pictures of all those releases in the booklet ^_^ What more could you want for the ultimate singles collection?? I highly recommend this singles collection to any new fan who wants to be introduced to Japans #1 solo male artist. This album allows you to explore through all his genre and style changes his taken upon during his 10 year career so far and has already sold over 1.3 million units in Japan in only 2 weeks!
