Blue Dragon Film Awards

The history of the Blue Dragon Awards can be traced back to 1963, when the Chosun Ilbo newspaper launched the first award. The awards ceased operation for twenty years until 1990 when the Sports Chosun newspaper revived the awards. The Blue Dragon Awards and the Daejong Film Festival are the two most popular film awards in Korea.
