November 10, 2006 Fantastic.Ayumi Hamasaki once again ceases to disappoint with her latest album creation, Secret. With the hit singles, "Startin'", "Born to Be..", "BLUE BIRD", and "Beautiful Fighters", it's no wonder that when the album was first announced, it topped preorder charts from Japan to the US! Originally a mini-album that was to house the hit singles with the album tracks "1LOVE", "JEWEL" and "momentum", the decision was quickly changed by Hamasaki to transform the seven track mini album to a fourteen track-long full album. This would add a whopping seven more songs to the tracklisting! A collection of superb tracks one after another, this album will NOT disappoint listeners, from Ayu fanatics to casual J-pop fans. The +DVD version contains a disc with seven PVs and seven making-ofs, a whopping fourteen video clips!

June 16, 2006 Amazing! Simply breathtaking.Such a concert of this high of a standard should be at the top of every J-Pop fan's list. From the sets to the costumes, everything is flawlessly incorporated into this magical experience that could only be better live. It's almost like Ayu is telling us a story through her music and stunning visuals. After all, she did visualize this concert. She goes from serious to hilarious as the MC sessions begin, but once the concert is over, you end up yearning for more. And when she's up there crying while singing Replace.. you can't help but feel a tear coming.
One of the best concerts I have EVER seen.

After 39 singles, we get one that is as magnificent as this one... but that's expected of the the resident J-pop queen Ayumi Hamasaki, isn't it? Her two new songs, BLUE BIRD and Beautiful Fighters both give off happiness like no other. BLUE BIRD's lyrics speak of lending a wing to another when one is weak.. simply amazing. Beautiful Fighters tells the message of women who are strong and unwavering, but also speaks of wounds that will always heal eventually. Balanced out with the Harderground remix of BLUE BIRD and an amazing rearrangement of Ladies Night by tasuku, this single is certainly a musical masterpiece. The DVD includes the PVs and a making of BLUE BIE, which is sure to please fans of the promotion video! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a dosage of high-energy long-lasting J-pop. This song is a closing theme song to the movie 'SHINOBI -heart under blade-', a love story that pits two lovers against each other. The song is supported with different Asian-influenced background music and the strong voice of the powerful queen of J-Pop, Ayumi Hamasaki. Listening to this song gives a sense of peace and harmony in one's self, almost a life's fulfillment. I heartily recommend anyone who is a fan of J-Pop, no, Japanese Culture, to buy this CD.
