YesAsia Editorial Description
One of the most iconic names in K-pop, H.O.T made their debut in 1996 with the phenomenal album We Hate All Kinds of Violence. The album's mix of controversial rap and sugary teen pop and the great popularity of members Moon Hee Jung, Jang Woo Hyuk, Lee Jae Won, Tony An, and Kangta ushered in a new era of idol pop in Korea. The album's second single Candy remains an enduring favorite for K-pop fans.

Love this album~! Yes, I need few moments to get accustomed with their first album but soon I love it~!! Candy lasts forever!! Yes, it is! No deny~! Descendant of Warrior is just so cool! The first time you listen to the bass you know you'll love this song! 내가 필요할 때 is so sweet~~!!! From track 6 to 9 were cool! I can't said the style but it's just cool the way they sang it~! |

Awesome debut!
|
As far as the tracks go.. Candy: is an awesome song that gets you hyper, happy, and awesome! nuhl sarang han mahn kuhm: is a slower love song that has an adorable chorus. junsah-aeh hooyae: is a faster rap song but for people that don't like rap, it's ok because the beat is is great! Track 4: is also a song with great beat..it includes kangta's sounds more often. For those of you that aren't aware, KangTa has a perfect singing voice! Track 5: is a sweet love song that was composed, arranged, and written by Young yoo jin..it also has a lot of sections of KangTa's voice. Track 6: is a great dance song written, composed, arranged by Jay Kim. Track 7: has that bondable beat that makes your body sway with it. KangTa's voice appears first in this song. Track 8: another dance song by Jay Kim. Track 9: all i have to say is...Jay Kim is a creative creator of dance songs!! Overall, it's an awesome debut album. |

You'll grow to love it.

At first, I bought this CD only for "Candy." Eventually, I found myself listening to almost every track on this album. |

first of many...how are they different?
|
H.O.T, High-five Of Teenagers, debuted with "Warrior's Descendant" (track #3 - Junsa Eh Oo Eh). Instead of starting out with a "cute" image, they actually instroduced themselves with a hardcore attitude that is different from all others. ===== [side note] they immediately became part of the "Bad List" in the older generation's mind because these parents believed that H.O.T will ultimately be the "evilness" that springs from their children's mind. When will these parents understand that THEY are the reason why we teenagers listen to H.O.T ? Never. ===== Fortunately for H.O.T, they had "Candy" as a back-up plan. They soon changed into a clean pair of overalls and placed a couple of innocent smiles on their faces - voila! Instant recipe for popularity. H.O.T may seem like any other group, but deep down, they are very different from others. And this is evident in every one of their albums. For one thing, they don't always sing about love! That is definitely a plus. |
