Quite good full-length release. I purchased both Normal and Special Edit. versions.

Step is a great dance title track that is very easy to listen to, and quite easily caught in the slightly pop-rock feel. The choreography is also nice.

Rider and '따라와' are not-as-good dance tracks, and I must say KARA better stick up with their trade mark sweet style than anything.

Strawberry and DATE(MY BOY) are just another KARA-marked tracks of sweet and loving feeling, and they delight my ears :)

Both the Intro and Outro tracks are definitely doing their works so well, with their electronic sound containing specific traits of the whole album in it :)

'나는..(ing)' (Acoustic Ver.) and '내 마음을 담아서(Dear Kamilia)' are sweet bllads that showed the girls' vocals, and is very soothing :)

Both versions have the same tracklist, but the booklets are little different. B, about the special version, half is pictures of the girls dressed up in colorful outfits wearing colorful makeups posing in colorful spaces. And the other half is them in the BTSs of Step MV. They bring a very lively and sweet, friendly impression. So basically I prefer this version.

While the Special version's album cover is black, the poster has a dark feeling with black background and the dark-colored CD.

Not quite recommended, but good nontheless :)

And the other half is them dressed up in more "elegant", darker outfits with dark makeups and blinking jewelries. I think the booklet stands out just because of the girls' beautiful appearance and nothing more :3

While the Normal version's album cover is yellow, the poster has a light feeling with white background and the light-colored CD.

Not quite recommended, but good nontheless :)

Prior to purchasing this I was a fan of the KARA I had heard, the big titles (Step, Jumping, Lupin, MR, etc), though this show that KARA can also produce music that is different to the mainstreamed, mass produced kpop.
There has obviously been a fair bit of thought into the order of the tracks, which is much appreciated, though it has significantly less impact as a piece if you shuffle.
This is a very bright album, with the darker style (see Lupin) not making a real appearance. So if you don't feel peppy, this may grate slightly.
I bought the standard edition, though now I wish I had gotten the Special Edition, one of my friends has it and it is worth the extra dollar for the prettier cover and different photos. The pictures in the Standard ed. are quite nice and well set out, though, what can I say, I am a quantity girl!
KARA have done well and produced a good album. Some songs deserve a second listen, even if you hate them at first, though the instrumental of Step can be skipped all together...there is only so many times you can listen to the same couple of bars repeating with an occasional coda, before you go insane. It does however highlight their talent that the most painful backing track can be made into a #1.

@Princess And Soldier Of Silence: thank you for replying me ^^ I know that Edition means that they are korean tracks, but yesasia also added Version, and that makes me unsure... I've ask them on twitter and they said that to me xD I've more than 50 cds, I'm used to buy online and I'm also lucky enough to have a dvd lector that reads all regions, but sometimes descriptions are so misleading, you know... It's better to be careful ;D

I'm not HUGE into KARA. Actually it's my roommate I grabbed this for as she's much more into this group than I am. However, it arrived in good timing, the packaging was pretty good and she loves all the songs and pictures. She even keeps showing them all to me, so all-in-all a good purchase.

@Dafni The only differences is the legal copyright contract stuff about where they're distributed in stores in their home countries. This also happens with artists from many other countries (including American artists) too. On all the releases of this album, the songs are still in Korean. My personal recommendation is just to buy the Korean one for Kpop CDs. With Jpop (if you listen to any) I'd recommend getting the Hong Kong or Taiwan Versions as they're the same thing as the Japan Version, but cheaper.
