YesAsia Editorial Description

Moon Geun Young gets married twice in the KBS drama Marry Me, Mary! Also known as Mary Stayed Out All Night, the charming comic-based romance keeps eyes and hearts happy with the photogenic pairing of Moon Geun Young with two very handsome husbands, Jang Keun Suk (You're Beautiful) and Kim Jae Wook (Bad Guy). Other than the winning cast, Marry Me, Mary! lights up the screen with its bohemian costume and set design and musical performances from Jang Keun Suk, who again plays a band singer after You're Beautiful.

Mary (Moon Geun Young) doesn't even have any experience dating, but somehow she ends up in contract marriages with two guys! In order to clear his debts, Mary's irresponsible father (Park Sang Myun) decides to marry her off to his rich friend's son Jung In (Kim Jae Wook), the boss of an entertainment production company. Taking matters into her own hands, Mary forges a fake marriage contract with her new friend Moo Kyul (Jang Keun Suk), a free-spirited indie band singer who never stays in relationships for long. But Mary's father has his own countermeasure: he registers Mary and Jung In's marriage without their knowledge! To appease the parents, the reluctant bride and grooms agree to a 100-day trial period in which Mary shares her time between her two husbands, neither of whom are interested in marrying her. But a lot of things can change in 100 days, including feelings! Moo Kyul or Jung In, who is really the one for Mary?

Product Information

Director: Hong Seok-Ku

Wi Mae Ri is the cheerful, pragmatic daughter of a failed businessman who had grown used to being constantly on the move to escape from debtors. She becomes fast friends with the free-spirited indie singer Kang Moo Kyul when she nearly ran him over in a car. Meanwhile, her father Wi Dae Han is saved from his debtors by his old friend, Jung Suk, who had just retumed from considerable success in the Japanese entertainment industry. Jung Suk, who had harboured a secret love for Mae Ri's mother, sets up a deal with Dae Han to have Mae Ri marry his son, Jung In. In her desperate to escape his predicament, Mae Ri begs Moo Kyul to pose as her husband, and finds herself in even more trouble than before when her father proposes a 100-day period in which she has to divide her time equally between Moo Kyul and Jung In, after which she has to decide who to marry.

Pretty Decent! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
I've watched the DVD with the english sub/original audio. There are common errors in the English sub with using "OhmiGod" instead of "What to do" for Ettokke and there was one part where there were symbols in the text, but other than that I find the DVD to be of good quality and worth the buy.

How are the ENG subs on this one? Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I want to buy this but can someone tell me if the subtitling is decent? I've read reviews about some versions having many distracting errors. I'm hoping to find a translation as good as Dramacrazy's subs. I made the mistake of buying a drama once with translations so terrible that you practically had to translate each line into into a real sentence based on context. I don't want to make that mistake again. Thanks!

Answers Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Hey guys, I saw some questions regarding this edition of the release. Anyway, this is the official KBS US Version of the FULL drama. His version is cheaper because of its publisher. KBS America is now teamed up with Tai Seng Video US which is kind of Chinese (Hong Kong or China)-based compared to dramas released by SBS and MBC which are released through YA Entertainment. YA releases usually have a bit better quality and extra contents like BTS contents, photobooks, etc.

As for the region code, it's coded 9 meaning region-free, so it's playable on all region DVD players. Anyway, if you want more details as to what's the difference between Tai Seng released dramas and YA, you can read my review for "God of Study/Master of Study."

Hope this helps!

hmm Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I wonder if this version is illegal/not the full drama? If you look at all the other versions they're much more expensive. Even the Taiwan version. How is it that this one is so cheap?

I wouldn't mind paying a little more but I can't play any of the other versions in my region. So I'd really like to know what I'm getting if I'm ordering this.
