While studying abroad in the States and working at the Korean embassy, Korean student Mimi (Kim Kyu Ri) meets and falls in love with dashing charmer Albert (Ricky Kim). All seems to be going well in their relationship, until Albert suddenly disappears one day. Mimi eventually returns home to Korea, leaving this abbreviated love behind her. It turns out that Albert is actually an FBI agent, but he had to keep his identity and goings a secret. Still holding a torch for Mimi, Albert travels to her rural hometown to apologize and propose, but Mimi and the townsfolk aren't about to let him off so easy!

Rising actress Kim Kyu Ri (Lovers, Bunshinsaba) and Korean-American newcomer Ricky Kim from D-War and On Air set off new sparks in the lighthearted rom-com My Darling FBI. Written and directed by Lee In Soo (Haan), this light and enjoyable film stays true to the genre with a sweet romantic pairing and hilarious supporting slapstick, bringing both love and laughter to the audience.

알버트 리(리키 김 분)는 대통령상을 두 번이나 수상할 만큼 유능한 최고의 FBI 비밀수사요원. 언제나 임무수행에 몰두하는 까닭에 여자 친구 미미(김규리 분)는 늘 뒷전인데, 프러포즈한다고 해놓고는 특별작전 때문에 바람을 맞추고 일주일이나 연락을 하지 않는다. 화가 치솟은 미미는 설상가상으로 비자가 만료되어 한국으로 돌아가야만 하는 상황. 이 사실을 알리려던 미미는 알버트와 연락이 안되자 직접 찾아 나선다. 미미는 그가 다녔다고 말한 직장들을 찾아가보지만, 알버트라는 사람은 일한 적이 없다는 대답만 듣는다. 알버트는 그곳에서 일한다고 거짓말을 하고 비밀요원직을 수행하고 있었던 것. 사실을 알 수 없는 미미는 알버트의 거짓말에 속아왔다는 생각에 잔뜩 화가 나서 한국으로 돌아간다.
한편, 일주일 만에 특수임무를 마친 알버트는 반지를 들고 미미를 찾아갔다가 처음 보는 알몸의 남자와 마주치는데…
