Despite sharing almost the same name as the Murakami Haruki novel, Korean dark comedy Norwegian Woods shares almost none of the qualities of the popular literary work. An independent ensemble horror-comedy, Norwegian Woods turns a Korean forest into a chess board as writer-director Noh Jin Soo moves his eight immoral characters around until they hit each other on a bloody colliding course. These characters include two men who can't find the body they're in the woods to bury, the woman whose lover goes missing after going to investigate a noise, two dazed high school boys trying to chase down a classmate they tried to rape, and a mysterious killer ready to spill blood. Who's going down? Who will make it out alive? In this forest, everyone is fair game.

Synopsis
각자의 목적을 가지고 숲을 찾은 8명의 남녀가 의지와 상관없이 살인게임에 휘말린다는 공포스러운 상황을 코믹하게 풀어가는 일명, ‘코미디가 되고 싶은 잔혹극’.
