Hopped up on conspiracy theories and sci-fi, Lee, blue collar sack, is on a mission to save the world. Andromedan aliens have infiltrated human society and are planning to destroy the planet at the next lunar eclipse. This film was a flop at cinemas due to it being catogorizated solely as a comedy, ooops!!, anyone expecting to see a comedy will be very surprised indeed. The story revolves around an earth loving guy who kidnaps a top businessman who he believes is a prince of an alien race from andromaeda and the world as we know it will come to an end unless he stops it, sounds like a comedy doesn't it? Well, while it is very funny in places it is also very violent, in fact most of the film contains inventive ways of torture that are quite graphic, plus there are elements of a detective drama, and to top it off it slowly but surely becomes extremely sad and difficult to watch if you are not ready for anything other than a comedy. Being a huge fan of extreme violence, drama and comedy in asian cinema, i loved it, the acting is very moving and the special effects are brilliant. It grabs hold of you by the face, throws you around the room and drops you behind the couch leaving you in a trance-like-state not quite knowing what's hit you, just that you've seen something brilliant and totally unique. I strongly recommend this film for anyone except the faint hearted!!.

I thought it was comedy film before I watch this.but it wasn't comedy.How can I say..It was sad..I couldn't hold tears while watching.As Japanese I understood why Japanese people love korean film.Korean film is much much better than Hollywod or Japanese film...

i didn't like this movie at all.. i tend to like most of korean movies but this one sucked.. Very cheezy and the graphics at the end was poorly done..

Watching the movie at the Rotterdam Film Festival 2004 I enjoyed the director for starters who expleined in short the funtioning of a blue piece of cloth and a small bottle of cough-medicine. The movie started with a strange guy with an even stranger helmet on. The beginning of the movie was the only plce where my mind was able to keep up with things. From there it got faster and started twisting with action, emotions, laughter, enterntainment from the best kind, surprises and freaky shots. The movie didn't only gave me the rollercoaster feeling but better a comfortable pinball-machine feeling. How can one explain about a movie this intense?? See it to believe it!!

i agree with all the reviewers who said what an amazing film this is. excellent acting all around and amazingly produced ... much better than any film out of hollywood these days. i'm not korean but i still feel proud that such a film could come out of any asian country.
