줄거리 (Synopsis)

국토건설단에서 탈출한 깡패와 그의 목숨을 살린 해녀 사이에서 사생아로 태어난 김정우(지성). 태어나자마자 고아원에 버려져 불행한 어린시절을 보내게 된다. 그때 고아원에 방문했던 이수현(성유리)를 보고 첫눈에 반하게 되지만 너무나 초라한 그는 그녀앞에 나서지 못한다.

그런 정우에게 일생의 첫번째 기회가 찾아오는데, 바로 피도 눈물도 없는 냉혈한 장민호 회장(전광렬)의 목숨을 구하게 되고 그의 하수구 같은 냄새나고 궂은 검을 일을 도맡아 하게된다. 그러다 결국 장회장의 아들 장태혁(이완)대신 교도소에 까지 다녀오고 정회장의 배신으로 그에게 복수를 다짐하며 목숨을건 도박을 하게 되는데...
