Top Korean directors and Japanese screenwriters came together in 2009 for the Korea-Japan Telecinema project, a series of seven feature-length mini-dramas starring some of Korea's biggest stars. Starring Shin Sung Woo, Ye Ji Woon, Ko Ah Sung, and Bae Soo Bin, After the Banquet from My Lovely Sam-Soon director Kim Yoon Chul and Gokusen writer Yokota Rie is about a group of old college friends who find some surprises awaiting when they meet again at a wedding. Rocker-turned-actor Shin Sung Woo returns to his singing roots with "To an Old Friend" (Track 6). The soundtrack for After the Banquet also includes songs from Park Sae Byul, Natural with Park Joon Seok, and Mate's Jung Joon Il and Im Heon Il.
