A taxi driver in Yanbian, Gu Nam (Ha Jung Woo) is knee deep in gambling debt, and he hasn't heard from his wife since she left for South Korea half a year ago. To clear his debt and find his wife, he reluctantly takes a job to assassinate a businessman in South Korea. When the hit job goes wrong, Gu Nam suddenly finds himself the target of the police, the mafia, and the very man who hired him, brutal assassin Myun Ga (Kim Yoon Seok).

영화 <황해> 제64회 칸 영화제 ‘주목할 만한 시선’에 공식 초청!

영화 <황해>가 제64회 칸 영화제의 주요 3대 공식 부문 중 하나인 ‘주목할 만한 시선’ 부분에 공식 초청됐다. 칸 영화제 ‘주목할 만한 시선’은 이미 2009년에 <마더>와 2010년 <하하하>(대상 수상)로 꾸준히 한국 영화에 대한 지대한 관심을 표명하고 있어 이번 나홍진 감독의 <황해>의 대상 수상 여부 역시 전세계적으로 많은 영화 팬들의 관심을 모으고 있다.

<추격자>로 이미 전세계 영화계의 센세이션을 일으킨 나홍진 감독과 김윤석, 하정우 두 배우의 또 다른 액션, 스릴러 프로젝트 <황해>로 뭉쳤다.
