《五億探長雷洛傳：雷老虎》由劉國昌導演，電影中劉德華飾演一名由沒沒無聞的警察，最初堅抗與其他警員同流合污收受賄賂。人在江湖，他最後又能否保存這份道德堅持？兩名嫵媚非常的女星邱淑貞及張敏與劉德華發展段段感情，關海山、吳孟達等老戲骨與劉德華同場飆戲，電影曾獲香港電影金像獎多項提名。續集中劉德華飾演年華老去的雷洛，電影加入郭富城扮演其兒子。父親是靠著種種手段升任高職的總華探長，兒子則是打擊貪污的廉政公署人員，親情與法理之間他們又該當如何抉擇？兩齣電影均是劇力萬鈞，幕幕扣人心弦。
