香港乐坛新人王侧田 (Justin) 首次与香港管弦乐团合作，以「爱」为主题，于2007年2月9至11日在香港红馆举行三场《港乐 & 侧田LIVE in Love with the Philharmonic》，演绎多首动人情歌。侧田出道两年即获「港乐」邀请合作做演唱会，亦是入行资历最轻能与「港乐」合作的香港歌手，故此他表示深感荣幸。
由于与「港乐」合作跟演唱会表演截然不同，今次Justin为港乐演唱会做足编曲和完成新曲的事前准备工夫。全场演唱会由指挥家张洁敏指挥，侧田在万人前吐心声，自称不懂珍惜爱锡自己的人，要学会放开怀抱去爱人，献上好歌来送给疼爱自己的人，令场面感动。是次个唱他也唱出不少别人的歌，包括∶黎明的「我这样爱你」、张智霖的「祝君好」及经典英文曲如「Greatest Love Of All」、「I'll Be There」等，当然还有Justin的「情歌」、「走音」「命硬」、「好人」和与表演嘉宾吴雨霏(Kary)手拖手合唱情歌「In Love With You」。

Despite of various critics from various HK media and bulletin boards, Justin In Love with Philharmonic Concert is a pleasant surprise, in terms of the selection of songs and Justin's singing skills. Justin is perhaps not the best HKPO singer, but is definitely above average. Compared to Justin's own first concert last year, you can hear the improvement of his performance and most importantly, he is more at ease and involved with the songs, and getting a nice live "band"/"orchestra" definitely complements his voice. The high points of the songs are definitely the new updated edition of "," which is very different from Chilam. And the english song selection definitely surpasses my expectation and varies from the more mainstream and the more "personal" selection from Justin. I really like the second section of the concert the best... everything from "I Don't Want to Miss a Thing" to "货边" are so touching and shows the strength of Justin's vocal skills. The perhaps more disappointing part is the intermission. I love acoustic songs, but that part is a bit too playful and just does not match the more serious atmosphere of the whole evening. But I guess in terms of rundown, that provides a much needed break and shows the more playful side of Justin. In conclusion, it is a wonderful recording and shows how Justin is a rising star. I definitely recommend this album and the upcoming VCD/DVD to everyone! Carfield |
