Different Title, Same Songs

Well, my friends presented me this very same album with all the same songs, but with a different title. The title is called, "醉是女人心." It seems to me the version sold on Yesasia.com is the version released in Taiwan versus the one that was released in China from my friend. Nonetheless, the songs are excellent, the singer sings in authentic Taiwanese accent, which really got me somewhat confused whether Tsai Hsin Chuan is a new singer or this album is simply a re-issue of a classic album from the 70's. I don't know much about musical instrument, but it seems like vacuum tube-type of electric guitar was used during the recording, and it just sounds great. This album or the singer, I would say, truly brings out the favor of these songs from 70s' Mandarin Song era. I enjoy this album right from the moment I listen to it the first time. I am listening to it. I've even transferred it to my rental car while my car is in the shop for repair. That is how much I enjoy it. I can say if the Taiwan version is any better the the China release version, but if it is just as good, one should buy it...definitely recommended. I never knew I would enjoy these "oldies" that much. |
